NEW Graham Hancock: The Forgotten Truths of Spirit and Ancient History | Aubrey Marcus Podcast

I’ve been waiting to have a podcast with Graham Hancock for over a decade now, and the timing couldn’t be better! Graham is both an experienced psychonaut as well as a controversial investigative journalist who has put forward convincing evidence of lost civilizations, potentially with advanced spiritual technology and an ominous warning for our time. Graham’s findings point to the likelihood of a major forgotten episode in the human story- a lost advanced civilization that flourished during the ice age, and was almost completely destroyed in a series of cataclysms that brought the ice age to an end.
His findings have drawn vicious attacks from both the academic community and liberal media, as they fly in the face of the mainstream scientific narrative. But very few people have dared to actually debate the compelling evidence that he presents in both his books, and the new hit series on Netflix called Ancient Apocalypse.
In this exciting and wide ranging podcast, we dive into his body of work while exploring topics like psychedelics, reincarnation, the nature of consciousness itself, dark entities, lost technologies, Atlantis, and much more. I also get to introduce him to some of the stories from four time podcast guest Matias De Stefano. Whether or not you have heard him on the Joe Rogan Experience, this is a unique conversation not to be missed!

For me hard to believe thst TV Broadcasting still exists at all Especiallly news, talkshows and other programs that arent series or movies. I moved out when i was 16, got internet and never subscribed to anything l that aims to „entertain“ but in reality is just a way to advertise, youtbe is really what you make of it. I dont know how kids and even adults waste hundreds of hours watching and listening to reaction videos, prank videos, lifestyle bullsh, people playing video games as a recreational thing….. I would argue it can be far worse than regular TV

I agree with a lot of the premises in this discussion like reincarnation, lost ancient civilizations, and our modern obsession with empty materialism, but Aubrey has a strange preoccupation with Mateo. In the 20th century Rudolf Steiner made similar intuitive discoveries of his past life as an Atlantean and Carl Jung cheekily quipped, "So long as Herr Steiner claims to understand the language of Atlantis but can't understand Hittite inscriptions recently discovered in the Near East, there is no reason to get too excited about any of the great things he has to say". We still haven't decoded Linear B, so we don't need to delve into the mythical and primordially ancient to uncover a mystery. In a way it's a pity some people's memories reach so far back into the past when many can't recall the last 50 years of human history, let alone the last week.

John Wheeler once said time is nature’s way of ensuring that everything does not happen at once. And this is so strangely accurate. I've done acid about 5 times in my life, back around 1988. But occasionally I still see the world like this, but I am not stoned or high. I have heard that some of the LSD can get stored in your body's fat deposits, and then when you burn the fat you will tend to have airy lucid flashbacks without being stoned. There is a ‘Present’ that is everywhere at once. Right now it is the Present. But if I wait a few seconds it is still the Present. And if I wait a Thousand Years, it’s still the Present. What divides the Past & Present yet retains so interconnected? Once upon a time I’ll pass on to the next For as soon as I am here I’ve left. However this is merely how you perceive. For I never really change and yet still continue to weave. I am reminded of that old poem from long ago: “Has it ever struck you that life is all memory, except for the one present moment that goes by you so quick you hardly catch it going?” Tennessee Williams I have since determined no LSD is stored in your fat deposits. But when I fast and work out I am so clear minded, sometimes impatient with the Uncertainty Principle of other's apparently false perceptions around me. Seeing the world through their eyes is like seeing the world through a distorted prism of alien philosophies. And I am left thinking Schrödinger’s Cat got their tongue.

@@daytradersanonymous9955 many things. too many things to write about without it getting muddy. first and foremost though, my background is in the psychology of the cult of personality. Lets pretend Hancock is absolutely correct, it is still weird for him to employ "salesman" tactics. 1. He primes his audience to distrust his critics by setting the scenario of "if i am right i will be persecuted". If this doesn't happen the fall back is "nobody pays attention to me, they ignore what I have to say". This leaves his audience to assume that anything other than praise for his ideas is either ignorance or arrogance. 2. He does not engage his critics and constantly uses strawman arguments. His show and writing is filled with "academics say" or "according to the mainstream" without any quotes or citation to anything or anyone. 3. He gets offended when his ideas are challenged and accuses the opponent of slurring his name. this focusses attention on the one making the claim, forcing them justify themselves thus look guilty of making a personal comment rather than a factual or objective observation. 4. Uses science when it helps his argument. Condemns science as being limited or "materialist" when it refutes his claims. I could go on all day. As I said even if he is right he acts like a deceptive person. He could not have a good faith discussion about facts with anyone disagreeing with him. He makes it very hard for the audience to hold him to task as he doesn't address criticism but rather move to "well what about clovis first" or "you scientists don't have an answer", ready to try push the burden of proof to science when he is the one making the claims. I hope this helps.

I spent a year meditating for 15 hours a day back in 2018. I received visions every day, I knew it was coming from source, that I had learned to translate the collective consciousness. I was telling people that 2020 was going to change human history, that something big was coming. I also was telling people that we were all one consciousness fractalized in each human, waking each other up to our selves and our power. That we were living in a very finite reality as a result of our own collective conditioning. Everything I experienced in that year and subsequent years as I continued to practice has manifested since. I wrote and shared about this with many people, and while I was healing and helping people, I knew they could only hear me from their level of awareness. However, seeing all of this come together after all of these years talking about it, only affirms in my own experience more solidly that what I was experiencing will ultimately manifest in the collective reality. So much love for us. :)

A meditative , a questioning mood which I may have acquired in reading books of the likes of Graham Hancock allowed me to occasionally travel in time so to speak, in order to bring valid answers to my desperate questions. Thus I was always intrigued by the spirit of Hesiod who spoke of the Gods with such freedom of spirit and if I may say so such matter of " factness " , such " naturalness "... And then I realised the truth behind Hesiod's discourse on the Gods. He knew the Gods personally. They taught him agriculture. the season's etc. These Gods of Olympus were few and were survivors of an ancient civilisation that disappeared beneath the waves.

Ghost-Lighting: Fictional books written so well into the fabric of reality - of factual history -- that they are actually found to be ‘undiscovered events’ that really happened. We walk by faith. Not by sight. And we don’t always understand it until God’s appointed time. Then it all makes sense. I think the nature of prophecy is probably one of the oddest studies out there. And I think good men have become lost in it. One does have to retain a sense of humor as they study. I am reminded of the beginning of the movie Jakob the Liar where Robin Williams playing Jakob Heym relays a joke he heard: Hitler goes to a fortune-teller and asks, "When will I die?" And the fortune-teller replies, "On a Jewish holiday." Hitler then asks, "How do you know that?" And she replies, "Any day you die will be a Jewish holiday." It is true that some prophecy is self-fulfilling. Yet some articles are just commercialised into weird tales.

I had the impression that people who were supposed to be protecting us let it happen. Then I ran into a tunnel that was created for escape, if needed. We came out in a place that I think may have been Egypt. I had this dream before I ever heard of Atlantis. So it's been interesting learning things that make me think it wasn't a dream but a memory. During the Covid years, I had anxiety and suddenly realized that my anxiety was due to watching the same power struggles that caused the demise of Atlantis happening again. Maybe the same players.

take a look at some recent videos on history maze channel - they may give you another angle on all this. It's hard to know if you're in a cult, remember that....

I'm amazed at how so many people are completely changing what they are saying over time to align with what the current evidence says. Ancient history, politics, medical history, science, and so many more things. I'm scared of how society doesn't embrace learning more, but complacency in stagnation.

Well said Graham Hancock - I have the same cell memory as being burned, and as a child (age three) my mother could not get in the Church. I refused to go inside. Thank Goodness she raised me free but you are not alone. Soar - we got you. 💚 You have had and will have a HUGE impact on us. We are so greateful.

You guys are on to something with the Aztecs. If a psychedelic society were to go bad, that would be an extreme example and should be studied, diligently, so we do not make the same mistake.

My enlightenment started with Thor Heyerdahl and his books/documntaries on BBC2 in England in the 1960s, the first controller of which was David Attenborough. It progressed to finding a copy of Fingerprints of the Gods in the 1970s. I have been compelled to go to the literal bedrock of ancient cultures to touch it. I have all of Graham's books; have met him, and feel deep respect for him and his work. It was the best journey to be on. Thank you Graham.

Graham might be criticized and canceled by mainstream society that watches Netflix but those of us who have been familiar with his work for many years and loved his banned Ted talk “the war on consciousness knows he’s the real deal.
