I am living for your videos right now! I miss traveling so much and I’ve actually always wanted to visit Budapest! I am surprised by the amount of vegan restaurants there honestly, because I wouldn’t have expected it.

Love Budapest! And your videography is superb - makes me want to revisit. When I visited I remember constantly going to their hummus restaurants and eating the entire plates to myself lol. I can't believe they have a fully vegan garden! All of the food that you tried there OMG exquisite.

Seriously, every time after watching your video, you made me fall in love with that place that you introduced! I'm amazed that Budapest is such a real vegan heaven and so ecofriendly like using paper trays and electrical scooters! Oh my gosh I need to join your tour! Love the vegan bakery, everything looked so delicious here! I would have extend my stay too! Take care while travelling!

Budapest sure has changed since I was there, in 2005! At the time, I struggled to find vegetraian food (it was before I went vegan). So happy to see it has changed!

@@VeganTravelDiaries I am looking forward to travel again! Haven't for over two years, due to obvious reasons. Next trip will be to visit my partner's family, though, as we haven't seen them since 2019.

I've never thought to visit Budapest but after watching this video and learning how vegan friendly it is, as well as the eco-friendly side of it, I definitely want to go now! My husband and I have been dreaming of all the places we want to go once we can travel again :)

Plenty of vegan restaurants and food amazing! People are great. Hotels are good value for money. So many fab hotels. I go to Budapest 10x year. Abs is you want to book beauty treatments they are also good value for money(not at hotels though)

So awesome it's a city you can walk around easily without needing to jump on public transportation. Interesting (a bit creepy) shot of the shoes lined up by the water. Love the pet friendly restaurant, how cool is that. I didn't realize there were so many vegan options over there. The scooter rental looks so fun.

We try to keep our guides reasonably short 😊 there would be so much to talk about but it would make the video too long snd no more enjoyable. These restaurants offer a lot of different traditional dishes so the best thing is to just walk in and try as many of them as possible 😊 it’s also a great way to have amazing conversations with the locals

Hi, great to have you in Hungary, but it would have been great, if you choose a hungarian theme song in the beginning. 😅. Because it adds a false taste to the whole experience. 😔 But come back again, try the other places! 😄

I love the video, Budapest looks amazing, it's on my list. Did they have corona rules in place? unsure about travelling right now. The food looked great, I don't think I can eat that much beige but would definitely go to the food vans in the vegan courtyard. Thanks for sharing, I have a very good Hungarian friend so will ask her about the local dishes, see if I can veganize some :D

Oh we went there just right before the Virus spread, last year in February. So it was at the very beginning of it (we had no idea what would have happened in the following days) and after that we basically went back home after a couple of weeks of safe travels. Haven’t traveled since. So we definitely do not encourage traveling right now till it will be safe again ❤️

It’s really hard sometimes cos prices tend to constantly change and people can watch the video 2/3 years later and find prices not accurate whatsoever 😊

Is it a good place for raw , fruitarian vegans ???

A lot of the vegan-friendly restaurants in Budapest are not on happycow unfortunately.

Yeah..that’s a shame. We don’t really use that App cos we find it quite inaccurate and many restaurants suggested are only vegetarian or not fully vegan . We usually prefer to do our own research 😊

The best fastfood in Budapest is 100% Vegan Love they have most delicious vegan buffalo “chicken” wings. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏽😋
