    My Ole man owned one of these in the sand pit behind our home. This was my jungle gym until MSHA was a thing! Good times!

    Nice video as always Justin, just out of interest, is this one of the two machines that has featured in Bennetshovels long walk videos that he has been showing recently.

    Yes. That was when the two machines were purchased by their new/current owner and walked to their current home. You can see how much work has been put into them.

    Was that particular dragline built before the end of the war in europe or after the end of the war?

    No, that machine was shut down for a tub replacment back in 2010. Unless there's more work for it in the future, Jack may end up being used for parts to keep Jill running

    That machine is in amazing shape -- especially for one that's 68 years old! My hat is off to the owners who have kept this unit in such good trim. It takes lots of work -- and paint!
