He was that good. He’s got more gold medals than Tony. Tony was just bigger because he nailed the 900 in the very first X-Games skating vert contest in ‘95, he just came first; but Bucky was better than Tony ever was. It was just name recognition Tony was just a better business man. Shoulda been Bucky Lasek’s pro skater.

My favorite skater when I was a little kid. So rad

I’ve been following Bucky since 8th grade, and I’m 46. He worked up the street from my fathers warehouse, at a skateshop that he was sponsored by, and there was a mini ramp squeezed into an alley behind the shop... and was waaaay better than everyone. I’ve seen really good street skaters, but what Bucky can do, and for so long still blowing doors... he’s probably my all time favorite skateboarder. He’s just too good.

Dude, still rips so fucking hard! I’ve been a huge fan of Charles Bucky Lasek since I was a kid. It makes me cry at how much he’s progressed the sport. As well at his constant push in the sport. Thank the universe for this gentleman!

Just when I thought my mind couldn't be blown anymore than it already has been, Bucky goes and releases this part. I must say that that was an absolute edge of the seat joyride. And I love how at age 44, Bucky is skating like a someone in their teens. Anyway, good stuff right here. Really good stuff.

every single one of his tricks looks like its straight out of a video game. when he does those board flips coming out of the half pipe it looks like the board has a mind of its own! RESPECT 🤯

JoeyGodsey yeah, but the first trick you ever landed wasn't a heelflip around the corner of a bowl that high in the air and flipping that slow.

this is such a trip seeing someone his age still killing it. i remember back in the 90s (I'm not young either) when he was killing it on the x-games. long time doing what he's been doing.

It’s honestly difficult to even see what tricks he is doing most of time. Most legendary 🤙
