Wish it was multiplayer Edit: You and someone else are on different sides of the table, instead of the dealer being on the other side it'll be the opposing player. A machine of some sort can load the chamber in a randomized sequence then boom, multiplayer Buckshot Roulette. It'll be cool if there's different modes or rankings of wins.

For those who don't know, the death scene is meant to be a small bit of lore. Based on the God contract you can get, God lost a game of Buckshot Roulette to the dealer. Thus, the afterlife you go to is not heaven or hell, it's the dealers afterlife. If he won a game, the lower could have heaven to look forward to. But by beating God, the dealer eliminated that and made the loser truly lose.

yeah, an immortal omniscient being would lose in a russian roulette game... makes total sense 😂

the game ending is what really makes this game for me. the sad "was it worth it?" sort of feel to everything is crazy. made me realize the player must have needed that money, really badly.

If they left the you are dead ending with just a black screen that only goes away when you restart the entire game it would have been waaaaaay more creepy.

Although I agree with that, considering you're facing a strong demon thing and with means to repeatedly survive and be brought back from multiple point blank buckshots, this is creepy on this own by letting you know, in no uncertain terms, this particular player isn't coming back, this is truly your Final Death. Like how in Vampire The Masquerade death is a slap on the wrist until either you deal with a very powerful entity, or you're rendered helpless enough for someone to drag you in the sun. Final Death, and there's no heaven or hell waiting for your kind.
