Buck 110 Usage
Ойын-сауық
What better choice than a Buck 110 to cut strips of T-Bone steak for Beef Stroganoff. Cruises right through and is thin enough to make cutting thin strips a breeze. Bon Appetite.

That has got to be the most inefficient way to cut up meat I've ever seen.

Was cutting strips for Beef Stroganoff. I again cut those strips in half. Chef Ramsey was standing right behind me coaching me.

@knifetimestory what you were doing can be done in less than half the time with a proper knife lmao

One of my favorite knives. My sheath wore out on my original 110 so I keep buying new knife and sheath and take the new one out and put in the old one.

You can just buy the sheaths by themselves sir, and what do you do with the knew knives?

I think you can just buy sheaths. But… It doesn’t hurt to have a back up knife.

@@Daniel_Richardson the buck sheaths were around $17. I used to be able to get a new 110 with sheath for about $15 more than the sheath itself. I’ve purchased 5 of them in 30 years
At the price of beef nowadays, that meat cost more than the knife.

As a matter of fact, those two T-Bones did cost more than that 110. Never even thought of it until you mentioned it. Thank you!!
My favorite folding knife. I got 4 of them and want one more, an early vintage one

Tom is the Paul Bos of meat cutting when it comes to a Buck 110!

Thank you for bestowing upon me that honor. Love it!
I have a big problem with all my Buck 110’s. They are so beautiful that I don’t want to use them, just look at them.
I have a problem with the Buck 110. They are so beautiful that I would rather look at my 110’s and not use them, so all my 110’s still look new.
That's one 'beefy' blade! 😮 🙄 😂🤣😂 The 110 is a classic. I can't imagine how many sandwiches, apples, cheese, meat, etc. that knife has sliced over the years. It's just a classic. And you show it in its natural element. 👍🏻

Very punny my friend. Yes, this particular one has done a huge amount of stuff.
👍 A Buck 110 can do anything. I believe it can possibly split atoms.

This one can. Stupid sharp. As all my 110's are. Very easy to get sharp, and keep sharp!!!

@@knifetimestory Yes sir, we agree. I have a 110 in each of these steels S30v, 5160, and Magnacut. On their own they could split atoms, but my hand is not as steady as yours and the knives keep slipping off. Although I did peel off one electron yesterday.

Well done sir!! It does take a steady hand.

Who holds a 110 like that to cut

That thing is not very sharp At least it doesn't look it

This thing cuts like a laser. No down pressure was applied. Just knife weight. Tough to see the way I videoed it. But it really did all the work by itself.

@@knifetimestory if this knife were sharp you would be able to pull cut through that meat like a paper slicer. This blade was dull enough that you were hitting the board while cutting and you were sawing through that meat like it was hardwood. Just admit the damn thing was dull man.
