10:45 Gramatica 48-yard Field Goal
15:36 Brad Johnson Intercepted by B. Taylor
23:54 B. Johnson 71-yard Pass to J. Jurevicius
25:42 Mike Alstott 1-yard TD Run
44:03 David Akers 30-yard Field Goal
55:54 Keyshawn Johnson 9-yard TD from B. Johnson
1:09:08 D. McNabb Sack-Stripped by Simeon Rice
1:20:03 McNabb Sack-Stripped by Ronde Barber
1:40:03 Gramatica 27-yard Field Goal
2:02:27 Ronde Barber 92-yard Pick Six
2:06:57 Buccaneers Stop Eagles on 4th Down
2:15:37 Buccaneers Celebration
The top seeded Eagles looked primed for a run at the Super Bowl, the only remaining obstacle was an upstart Buccaneers team. The Eagles opened the game with a 70 yard kick return which led to a 20 yard touchdown, but it was all Buccaneers after that as Tampa Bay outscored Philadelphia 27-3 over the rest of the game. The game would be known as "Black Sunday" in Philadelphia and Sports illustrated rated it as the #1 worst loss in the history of Philly sports.

For those who were not around when this game took place: It was 2002. The Bucs were one game away from attending their first ever Super Bowl. Against them were the Eagles, who had been a rival to the Bucs for the past years, as they always prevented them from reaching the Super Bowl. Not only that, but this was the LAST game ever to be played in Veterans Stadium, which had been the home of the Eagles for over 30 years. After the Bucs won, they went on to play the Oakland Raiders in the Super Bowl, the team which Bucs coach Jon Gruden had previously coached.

@@arugula2787 No. At this point, that stat had gone down to 34 or 32 degrees at kickoff. The last game of this 2002 season, the Bears game was 34 degrees by one article and 32 by another. Can't nail it down. Bucs won that game. It was a useless stat anyway. They didn't lose games because of the weather. They lost because they were just usually outclassed.

I was in college at Temple at the time and returned back to Philly from Christmas break the day before. There wasn't a person within 50 miles of Philly that thought the Eagles were losing this game. The energy in the city before this game compared to the depression that set in after was amazing, bordering on bizarre. Next to the 1993 WS Game 6, this is the most devastating loss in Philly sports history. I was still in school for SB loss to the Pats and that doesn't even equal the disappointment of this game.

Not to mention the game where Ronde scores 2 TDs against McNabb as he pukes all over himself and the Bucs win on a last min 62yarder when they literally have no offense. So the Bucs have done something, they've beat the Eagles over and over and over again.
