@@TheNerdistheWord Only about 50% of the part value of a Tesla is from the USA. Every car 'sticker' must state the percent of 'content' from the USA+Canada. Tesla has a large content from Mexico. The Tesla Model 3 is only 45% USA+Canada and the Mexico content is 25%. So on par with Ford, GM, and Chrysler.

@Ka Pow interesting that even powered by coal plants EVs are cleaner, that's how inefficient gas vehicles are once you add refinement and distribution. Although I'm sure the clean factor drops significantly compared to other power generation like nuclear. I believe coal plants account for around 1/3rd if our power in the US.

I grew up in the 60's/70's. Had a 1969 GTO Judge with a 1970 455 engine under the hood and functional ram air. At that time it could pass anything on the road, except a gas station. :-) I'll never buy an electric car. And Buddy Brown sir, you and your music absolutely ROCK!

Sometimes I really do feel like I was born in the wrong decade. I'm 25 years of age, but I dislike the majority of my generation. I love old fashioned things and can much more easily relate to those folks who are at least a few decades older than myself. I stand for God, country, and family. Granted, I don't drink, smoke, or chew. Hard work, integrity, honesty, grit, perseverance, love, respect, faith, courtesy, discipline, valor, courage, commitment, dedication - these are some of the values that were once so common in America. Today, I see far too many of my peers who seem to be more accustomed to other values: laziness, weakness, entitlement, superficiality, and lack of so many of those values states above.

I'm 42 but I was raised by my WW2 era Grandparent's. So when I got married I knew how to deal with the butcher, wrap meat for storage, how to handwash damn near everything, cook, can, clean. My husband watched me our first week married and dropped to his knees to thank my Grandparent's for giving him "real wife". Honestly I'm very happy being a housewife, taking care of my husband and son is a source of pride for me.

Finally. Someone else who thinks like me. Im 26 years old and cant have a decent let alone logical conversation with 90% of people i know my age. They get offended too easily, they talk with emoticons on text, they speak how they text, and God forbid they get off the couch, put down the controller and pizza rolls, get dressed, grab a pen, and apply for a job. Its a sad state that society is in. We old fashioned millennials will be the backbone when the older generations slowly and sadly pass from this life to the next. We need to stand and light a fire under our fellow millennials butts

I'll never buy an EV cause they're based on a lie. Oil will renew as long as the sun shines on the earth, you just gotta find where it's happening. Co2 isn't a pollutant and global warming isn't a result of us driving cars, nor is it even a fraction of what they claimed it is. I'll Never stray from my 3 Chevrolets, and if I Do ever buy another car it will be a Loud LAGUNA BLUE METALLIC CHEVROLET CORVETTE with Red Seats and Corvette Chrome Rims. Where I Live there's a CORVETTE Show with 80 - 100 of them on the Square ever 2nd Saturday in October. There would NEVER be an electric car show. Businesses would be hurt and True Americans here would flip off the electric car people.
