NPR did tiny desk concerts (at home) - in the artist's houses during lockdown. That's when this was filmed. BTS did this in a music store in Seoul. The band is Ghost, which is their band for concerts and other live performances.

You don’t need to change anything for Redeemers. You do you. Spring Day is such a beautiful song and I love their stage performance of that song. I’m definitely OT7

The performance had a theme of songs that show how much they missed ARMYs and feelings during the panera bread. Also you don't see them do as many harmonies during shows like this because most of these songs have choreo. They usually (and they have changed it up a bit now and then) are dancing while performing these songs so they can't do all that while dancing. That's why the harmonies are usually backing track because they need to breathe lol.

Love the Tiny Desk performance-- Spring Day being my top 2 fave of BTS songs, im always ready to hear it - it is the Queen, still on the Korean charts after its 2017 release. The lyrics deals with missing people but it was the mv the hooked me to the song - the mv commemorated a national tragedy that was a big risk for BTS---- At that time, artists who talk about the tragedy would be blackballed by the previous govt. --- if you guys are up for it, i recommend watching the mv and then the explanation vid- there are 2, but my preference is the one by the Italian Army. - stay safe 💜

They use backing tracks and they will have the backup vocals (which is typically them), but they don't lip sync. There were some people saying that because they just can't believe that you can dance that hard and sing at the same time, but our boys/young men are just that damn good. You guys should watch the Italian Army explanation of Spring Day to get an in depth understanding of what this song means, how incredibly beautiful it is, and why it's still charting in Korea after all this time.. this is one of their most beautiful meaningful songs and brings me to tears every time.

Taking the train from Seoul to Busan is a must. 😆 Seriously though, you'll get to see the countryside and the two biggest metropolises in one trip. Both cities have a unique feel. Go to the beach in Busan and have some chimaek for my sake! 🍗🍻 I'll be there as soon as I can. 😊

I was supposed to be going to Seoul, Jeju and Busan in March/April 2020 and spent the equivalent of 12,000 dollars on it (without the spending money), watching from the January about the spread of the covid worried that Korea and then Japan (for the second half of the holiday) would be locked down but instead the UK locked down one week before so we couldn’t fly out though Korea and Japan were still letting us in:( did get the money back about 5 months later but it ended up going on emergency house repairs later in the year and now I can’t afford to go. Hopefully one day I will but it took me years to save that up:’( Hope you guys have better luck and get to go!

(were also taking our Mom's ashes to Ireland, but that has to wait as well) Glad you got your money back even though it got sucked into an emergency. I guess it's good you had it on hand to cover that! But, wow! Was that for a couple people? In 2017 I did Seoul/Incheon, Jeju, Busan, and Jeonju (in 2 wks, which I do *not* recommend! So exhausting! I just really wanted a survey of different places I'd heard so much about. Next time I'll spend at least 3 days in only 2 or 3 locations.) for about $3.5k including spending money. I'm kinda cheap and did Airbnb and a private room hostel, though, and the most expensive things I bought were three bottles of artisan makgeolli. lol It felt like home away from home. I miss it so much. I wasn't even ARMY back then! Just a Kdrama fan. I've been saving up for a longer trip.
