I can understand Jin's reference of his achievement to being able to call Bang Si Hyuk as hyung. Asians use honorifics out of respect for people older than us or those in authority and IMO, to relate to Jin's boss like an elder brother instead of a boss speaks volumes of how they were able to bridge that gap between just being a talent to a business partner. It's a known fact that BTS were each given 60,000+ shares of stocks in Hybe Corp when their company went public and listed in the stock exchange. So that makes BTS part owners of Hybe Corp as shareholders. Not every KPop artist can get that kind of privilege.

@@vpme17 True, that's why I believe BTS can flex unabashedly on their reference to Bang PD, the same way Suga flexed his reference to him in Daechwita. But even though BTS openly tease Bang PD even at award shows, they never lose their respect for each other.
