I love this one. It’s wise and shows conceptual facts. It’s always been jinkook for me. They always have special bond and there’s been moments that come out from jk’s mouth that confirms me. Not a delusional video that makes me a shipper. I’ll always support them for 1000%. At the same time I don’t wanna come out them to public, just don’t want them to face hardships cause I love them so much 😭

Wouldn’t bother me at all I’m 65 and just love Jin and JK together I really think they love each other and I’d be glad if the came out and would support them 100% 💜💜💜💜💜

I love you and I love this video to no actual extent. It's so beautiful to find someone who is open-minded and considerate about all this situation. Im from lgbtq community and I understand how tough things could get regardless of support and society. There will always be a you and you yourself! It doesn't matter who the ship is or if there's a real ship; the only thing that should be our concern is to support their music and who they are. They won't make genuine music if they can't be themselves.

Years ago, I watched a video (now deleted), this person quite same with Mhoni Vidente, an indigo & using tarot as their medium. Some of their predictions was really happened, and in a couple of videos they read about bts members -onebyone- by request (they claimed they are not a kpop fans & totally doesn't know bts at all). They said about Jk & it happened (you mentioned it in the video). One that caught me, they said behind the scene Jin -not only from girls but- got so many love calls from guys. It varied from idols to ceo or actor, but currently he is "tied" to someone else. The tarot reader couldn't elaborate more (including what "tied" means) because it hidden deep inside. And now, the other tarot reader said something similar (although she does not said the name), but... I have my own (objective) thoughts that it might be Jin & Jk, but... idk. Anyway, personal opinion, If they say there are a queer in bangtan, I can't help to agree. Looking at from their lyrics and music -universal love- logically speaking, they can't reach that level of understanding about universal love IF they can't experience it themselves. I'm not queer myself but I was surrounded with queers and we always have a deep conversation about lgbtq. When they listening to bts music, they really amazed with the message bts give that lead to asked whether there are a queer in bangtan. And I agree, coming out is not something easy. Some people I closely know even had a depression admitted their sexuality & coming out to their family, this make me think does the point 1 related to the point 3? Who knows. One thing for sure, whatever happens with their personal life its not ours to meddle. We can only keep supporting them and wish for their happiness :)

Really? It’s interesting coz J also got so many flowers on Valentine’s Day in all boys school. I mean, in real life, what kind of charm does he has to be so damn attractive to all genders? But yes. Agree 100% that their lyrics deliver to another level.. I consider my self as bi but I never come out in real life and I’m even married now with kids. I enjoyed their music but when I found out the lyrics (and translate it) it’s just so different. Yes, divination is...tricky. When we read for ourselves, we can consciously weigh our decision and take control of our actions. The purpose is clear but I don't get it when people do specific readings about BTS future spouse, twin flame, etc. General yearly prediction is okay for me, but personal things like those are none of our business since it'll bring more disadvantages (ex. people speculating non-stop, people taking opinions as facts) than advantages.

What a deep video that taps into the real social issue/stigma. It’s wonderful.

Well. Really good video that explains things in context of reality rather than fans hoping and shipping who they like to pair up. In my opinion as it's better if they don't reveal things because of any kind of environmental pressure. They can surely be open about themselves and real fans should support them. But considering how south Korea reacts to these and how "maybe" a majority of fans might react to it might not be good. Also .. there's also taking into consideration the decision as members of a group and not individuals. But above all I love them all as they are and for who they are and I hope they receive all the love for being themselves and not falling prey to unhealthy amount of expectations. :) 💜

Honestly, after i saw that clips, Jin is the one that pop on my mind, remember the song ABYSS and his reason why he wrote that songs, he suffer from anxiety and depression, and he said he already overcome it, but i am not sure if he really overcone on that 100%, because this past interviews and some awards shows, his not on his usual self, or maybe he really tired only, i don't know

I think the concept that most straight people don't understand is that coming out is a personal thing. We _can't_ and _shouldn't_ out them. If they don't want to, it's perfectly fine. That's the reason I try to be neutral in my videos because all we can do so far is appreciating their bond ☺️

If there ever was a couple, there’s no doubt it’d be Jinkook. 2020 was truly Jinkooks era, especially with how JK keeps getting more and more bold in public nowadays. It’s almost like he’s telling the fans that Jin is his? They are almost always together & touching (mostly JK) in interviews & appearances. Sadly I doubt they would ever come out anytime soon.

I have been watching some of your clips but today after this video I'm subscribing to you. Y? Your general outlook coincides with mine. No one should make the 7 to do anything they are not comfortable doing. They do because they want to. I'm okay with anything they do as long as they don't harm themselves or other members. They are individuals like us and have every right to live their life just like us.

I totally support all of them , for I am a mother of three beautiful daughters , one is straight , one is bisexual and one is non- binary , and my oldest granddaughter is a lesbian , no matter what I love them unconditionally and support them in their life choices , it is such a shame for any one who has to hide it and not be able to show and love openly , so I wish for all the members of BTS to be happy with their life choice and not be ashamed of it , be proud and enlighten your soul with all the love 💜💜

every single rumor I've seen has said if there is a couple it's an unpopular ship, so it wouldn't be any of the popular ships like taekook, yoonmin, namjin, jikook, etc.

For me, it is ok if they don't have to come out of the closet, as long that they are together and continue loving each other. Gender is not something that can define a person, everyone just needs to treat each other equally, we all deserve to be loved and to love. Even though sometimes, true love comes from an unexpected places and people. I will support them whatever will be their choices in the future. And like you've said on your other video "YOU DON'T FALL IN LOVE WITH THE GENDER, YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH THE PERSON" and i love JINKOOK for who they are and not for what they are☺☺☺☺☺☺☺

Thank you so much for this essay, I am a supporter of love, however or with whomever it might be experienced, and I feel that in the end, love always wins. Whether people decide to stay closetted or come out, nobody can stop anyone from experiencing love, and finding their soulmate, whoever it may be. That said, I completely understand the hardships queer people would have to go through, to be accepted for who they are. If they decide to stay hidden, it is completely their choice and should be respected.

If they ever come out, I guess they will do it after the contract end, or at least after the military service. I am so worry about their safety. Anyway, I will always support them whatever their decision with their life, as a fans I think we really need to respect them as individual and human being. The first point is more than depression though. I didn't mention it in the video but a subscriber was kind enough to translate it for me. The prediction said that it'll also be related to substance abuse as the coping mechanism. That's the main point. Probably weed since it's illegal in South Korea and many artists got into trouble because of that. That being said, it's May now while she mentioned that the gay couple prediction will happen in the beginning of the year. So, hopefully nothing bad will come true! I think the military is the biggest hurdle, at least for now since it's time for them to enlist. I hope later when the time is right, they can be "selfish" for their own happiness and do whatever they want, like moving to an LGBT friendly country. All we can do is hope for the best! I'm thinking of making another video about queerbaiting in K-Pop because I feel that the industry itself "endorses" fans' fantasy yet at the same time is still trapped in an internalised homophobia. That's reflected in the "shipping" narrative.

@@moonbathingrite please do! I think we need to have that conversation going because the hypocrisy needs to be called out. The shipping narrative is becoming too much for my sensibilities, tbh. I am not 12, or 16, or 18, or 25. I am a cisgendered mature woman at the prime of my life and what the fans are "demanding" from them are tasteless and emotionally damaging to the artists. Why can't we appreciate their music and what they stand for instead of fawning over every look, and every touch that they do to one another. When I see some clips (why do I even bother to watch them?) on my IG about jealous so-and-so, my eyes roll so much at the back of my head that I am afraid it is never coming back into focus! And let's talk about weed...my favorite herb. It's legal where I officially live. When Governments begin to decriminalise drugs, that's when good things happen. Case in point, Portugal. We are only humans afterall, we all deserve to love and be loved. Whenever they wish to come out of closet, I would respect their decision. And would accept them with open arms, even if they don’t plan to, I hope they live a happy life and I will keep rooting for them nonetheless.

I saw the unpopular ship and being from maknae line and hyung line thing a while ago and my mind immediately went to vhope, I fell deep down the vhope rabbit hole about 2 years ago and I'm still sometimes convinced even though I don't ship like that anymore bc I feel it's not my place to make those assumptions about people I don't know.

I think before their debut they're all straight...but after living together, growing together overcoming hardships and success together, some of them got confused of their own sexuality

Agreed, you can see some slight behaviours from some members in 2017-2018, but I started to get some heavy vibes from Tae & JK in 2019-2020. I don’t think they are attracted to one another, but I’ve started to notice how they behave towards another member.

I want to share my experience if you don't mind. It's not that people used to be straight, but they could also be repressing it because of heteronormativity. As they mature, meeting different kinds of people, witnessing various kinds of love, they learn (or in this case I learn) that there's a different identity that fits me best. I finally accepted that I'm pan during my 20s. It's late, but if I re-evaluate myself, I always have that view on love and people but I don't know how to label it. Yes, it could be confusing, but so does the process of discovering yourself. The most important thing is we get through the journey 💜

Jin always said that he likes someone who can cook), it still fits both genders. Or when Namjoon and Yoongi said that they care about the atmosphere/vibes rather than physical appearance.

Well yes, it's like that on Twitter. Most people love JK's long hair, but there are also some who say that he looks too feminine or too pretty with the long hair. And in that interview when he cut his bangs, he's also aware that some prefer him to be cute. That's why I said it could be confusing especially if he tries to please everyone since everyone has different preferences anyway. Big Hit isn't supportive of BTS being gay. Adora isn't the producer he's talking about. And this translation you posted is all out of order in the way he speaks of things. So I watched whole video, I know I'm 1.5 month late but it still give me goosebumps. I know that dispatch didn't reveal anything about BTS though if they come out many people don't accept them. There are 3 reasons for them:(1)they like their idol romantically (2)they don't wanna accept that their idol may be homosexual or bisexual.(3)their ship is proven wrong because of who comes out as a real couple I hope that they will never come out as there are so many hardships if they do so, but who knows they can able to change people's perspectives towards lgbt community. First of all, great work! You’ve created an exceptional video. I’d like to thank you that you were discussing all those things in a real-life, not “fluffy” way as some may want to see. In full honesty I think “coming out" for an idol right now will either be met with a complete denial or huge harsh attacks. Korean society is still very conservative. Idols are CONSIDERED straight by the public, because heterosexuality is deemed as the norm. On the other hand it’s quite likely there are a number of non-straight people in the SK entertainment industry who have to maintain their careers while remain closeted. BTS are seen as sympathetic to LGBTQ rights, although there is no official statement of support for obvious reasons, yet, but they did show it clearly with their actions multiple times. Jin himself said that he had attended GP in Chicago and liked the event. You hit the nail on the head when you separated Bang Si-hyuk persona from the BH company. He undoubtedly condoles as an individual but it’s a business where currently everything surrounding BTS simply works and makes money and more money. Big Hit surpassed the big-3 in the industry. For all boys it’s much safer and wiser to continue making money and at the same time gaining greater power within the society they may wish to change in the future. Sexuality is complex and personal. Absolutely no one should be ashamed or threatened because of the type of person they are or are not attracted to.

Yes l think you are making a burden for BTS with this video. You said it yourself if people need to come out they must do it in their own time. People believe videos like this and become haters because of it. If they are gay or not so what, none of our business. I got the impression you wanted them to put their heads on the block to see what will happen. I say if they don’t want to talk about their sexuality then we respect and don’t talk about it. I am not a fan of BTS because of their sexuality, l am a fan because they are inclusive of everyone from all walks of life, young , old, gay straight, black ,white and everything in between. As for being the ones to lead the way with their influence for Asian countries, two of the biggest China and Japan undermine BTS at every step, why would they feel the need to follow someone they are trying to bring down. It would be handing them ammunition to shoot them with. BTS are doing just fine , they choose wisely what they will stand up for and how they will do it. They support the gay communities and that should be enough, if they want to do more they will. Their choice not yours or mine. Stop trying to out them publicly, l know it would be a great story for you but have some respect for the guys and what they are achieving in the music industry. If any of them turn out to be gay GREAT, if they are straight GREAT , anything else GREAT, it doesn’t matter. They were kids that grew into men , that have been through so much already, time for a bit of privacy and respect.

I don't think that you get the intention of the video. I already said the most important part on the conclusion. How could I give the members a burden when they didn't even see this video? That's just me trying to be hopeful after hearing the news. A consolation, looking at the bright side. I made this video not for BTS, but for the fans to help them understand the complexities of the situation if something like the prediction indeed happens. That scares me a lot imagining the fan wars or ship wars that could be created, so I made this video, contrary to your opinion, because I respect them. Different cultures have different ways of showing affection. I have watched many korean dramas and some things i noticed, feeding each other, giving piggybacks and pouring drinks for each other are signs of respect . Sitting like wearing a skirt is how they seat when they show respect, etcetc. So i just hope that videos or tarot predictions are not going to do harm to their closeness or put labels on them.

Im one of the guilty shipper who ship for fun ( namjin cuz of aesthetic reason only) i find jinkook, yoonmin and vope interesting especially jinkook based from all the videos that i have watched, you can see the deeper bond they share and love and respect for each other. but for now, i dont ship any of the pairs romantically until one of these pair confirmed that its true and official only then i will believe. Cuz i dont want to hurt myself assuming that my ship is real but the truth is not and im just delusional.

Yes, I think that's a very healthy way to approach shipping real people. I mean, they're not fictional characters whom we can push to be together in order to please us, the audiences. The reason I'm inactive from YT is that I find more people use shipping as an excuse to hate/diminish their relation to other BTS members (I mentioned it in the other video essays) and I don't want to encourage that.

i dont think it is not only about religion, but also confucian values of continuing your lineage, i got this insight from xiran youtube channel, but regarding jk and jin, well at least they have older brother, so the responsibility of continuing the lineage are off from their shoulders

Yes, you're right. Confucian values also play along though I think the younger generation starts to criticise things that are "wrong" from filial piety. Even if someone is gay, there's a chance that they'd marry for a facade or have some sort of arrangement sorted out. And when a person's is bi/pan, most likely they'd choose the easiest path.

as LGBTQ we know how hard its for us so think how hard it would be for them I'm happy with whatever they do i just want them to be happy if anyone comes out as LGBTQ it makes me afraid that what if they get hurt the world has not fully accepted LGBTQ not even their own country bts is worldwide famous now but seeing how much shipping is increasing feels like fans won't mind if they're? i didn't expected so many fans like and want ship to be real and korea is not accepted yet but i feel like maybe they will in future

What i want is for them to stop looking shock or offended when an international reporter ask them about dating. They should, by now, have a practiced answer. Honestly, in my opinion, Jk and Jin looks like they are more than dating. These men look like they are more married than me who have been married for 20 years. I dont think JK is doing well in the closet either. He is hissing and clawing to show you who he loves. He has always been like that. I am from Jamaica where people have been killed for being gay, sadly. I have made the effort to grow my kids differently. They are young adults now and, greatfully they are not homophobic at all. If Jin and Jk are gonna face some of the shit i have seen, i would beg them to think about coming out very carefully. As their fan, i really dont want to see them get hurt.

Me too! At least they can say, "That's a personal question. We don't want to answer that," instead of repating the old lines about dating ARMY and being too busy to date. They have to prepare the fans for that fact instead of keeping them away from accepting it. And thank you so much for taking care of your kids differently! I wish I had parents like you.

It surprised me why everyone here is saying jinkook when the relationship between them doesn't look romantic but strong bond of two playful people. If they fall in love with anybody is for us to love and support them more.jk can be gay but I don't think he can partner with jin.taejin bond looks suspicious more than jinkook

There's a reason why everyone is saying Jinkook. Look closer.....Jin and JK are more than the one dimensional stereotype of Tom and Jerry. And if there is a BTS couple, it will be the one you least suspect.
