I don't think people realizes how hard soyeon's rap was. It was out of the pocket rap at the same time it's hard enoughto focus during the performance because it was just not like a simple show.. It was one of the biggest award shows. She did an out of the pocket rap without being out of focus and still she managed to nail it. Not even nail it.. She fcking murdered that shit and i know she's already THAT female rapper but this one just solidified her. As far as i can hear the flow swotch was so smooth that even if it was out of the pocket it didn't give an awkward air inthe performance. She did that.

@@adara4635 out of the pocket is out the beat rap. The background music was not supposed to be on beat with the rap you have. Out of the beat pockets are supposed to sound likr they are out of beat because really that's what it is. You think it's out of beat but out of the pocket is a technique most modern rappers nowadays do. You have a rap and a beat inside your head and it doesn't match the music hence why it is called out of the pocket. It'sa very hard thing to do. You have to stay focus because you're already not matching the beat of the music. You have to match though the beat and the vision you have in your head. If you want you can check out some out of the pocket raps so you would understand how hard it is and why she nailed it. The 4 rappers in that video agrees that she did well. Rm, jhope, suga, and loco is bopping their heads not to mention rm who smiled and jhope also smiled. V was thoroughly entertained cpnsidering v knows perfect pitch. V out of everyone in bts has perfect pitch and can determine pitch pretty easily. Out of the pocket raps are pretty complicated and can easily sound like it's out of beat but if you know what out of the pocket rap is then you'd know how hard what she did there.

Frankly speaking this rap of soyeon introduced me to gidle. I have been stanning only bts. I don't know how this video came in my recommendations and I watched it. Gosh this walk and her sick flow and her attitude hooked me! She owned the stage🔥not to mention she looked so gorgeous in that beautiful. It's hard not to look at her. And yes out of pocket style is out of beat. Before her only one idol did that on a live stage and that was RM.
