@@MontWRLDtv 9:11 jungkook who is the main vocalist is the only vocalist who is also a sub rapper in the group.. along with being the lead dancer and the actual “center” position in the group which means he’s front and center the most and has a lot of parts… also the baby of the group. He got to rap a lot more in the earlier songs… he’s exceptionally talented . Also it’s baffling that this isn’t a concert lol just a award show … nobody is doing it like BTS imo 11:04 suga is one of the best rappers of his generation… he brings so much emotion to his raps… angst, anger, aggressive, cheeky and fast af.. he’s insane as a rapper lol he’s top tier 12:19 that’s right! Jungkook with the purple mic and maroon hair here :)

Jimin is the one that was hitting the high notes. When they have high notes it will almost always be our Jimin

Aren't they amazing? They are so fun to watch! Just when you thought you've seen it all, they come up with something better. They always outperform themselves. FYI, this is not a concert. It's an award show 💜.

This is my fave BTS Awards performance ever. They turn awards night into their concerts ;)

♦️This was from the annual Melon Music Awards, a Korean award show the equivalent to the Billboard Awards. BTS swept the awards, thus closed the award show, though many other artists did indeed perform beforehand. The cost of the production for BTS entertainment company BigHit, was over 500K dollars, and all the in-house production team of BigHit started planning it over half a yr beforehand! Also most of the rehearsal time that BTS had, was while they were touring worldwide. But they all were quite into doing this, and somehow managed to fit in the rehearsal like they did the yr before. The only one who performed live only, without benefit of VCR being shown, for the broadcasted version, was Jimin, who shows here being the phenomenal, outstanding, ever so breathtakingly amazing professional dancer he is, which he was even before joining BTS. His performance was beyond mesmerizing, so poised & elegant of a dancer. With the exception of Jimin, all the other solo performances were prerecorded live, with smaller audience the day before, since there was no way to have these stage sets and tank pool of water let alone have JK who was performing the dance in water get dried and change clothes beforehand! Although, all the members performed a live version of their solo dance, for the live audience, while the VCR was playing the prerecorded version that the broadcast, & or online audience saw. Also certain songs like Mikrokosmos were performed live beforehand, as well, so they could also allow for the special effects that only people who saw the broadcast on TV in South Korea or had it stream worldwide could see that version. Also the part with the live horses was filmed beforehand without an audience.

Jin is the one hitting all the high notes in this song, especially the one at the end😊 love your reaction. BTS is #1 indeed.

Yes, you're right but the last one, which is also super hight and very rocker was Jin. They ALL do an excellent job and EVERYONE of the vocal line hits super high notes. I'm so glad to be OT7. Sorry my english is not very good. Disculpa, mi inglés no es muy bueno.

Can you understand now why Army's justifiably get angry when they don't win performance awards when they should. These 7 men put everything they have into their performances and it shows! To quote RM "I'll prove it" and they do that every single time!

Jimin’s solo dance gives me goosebumps every time. He’s such a talented dancer who is so versatile. I could watch him dance all day.

BTS and Bighit Entertainment is all out and very generous to their production especially on awards night. Very entertaining from start to finish. They alway level up their productions from concepts to props. 💯💯💯💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Welcome down the rabbit hole!! Baby ARMY loves our boys. They are incredible in every sense and I couldn't be more proud of them. It took me a minute to find them but I haven't looked back since.

❣️Jimin was the only one who performed live only, without benefit of the prerecorded VCR being shown, like for other BTS members, for the broadcasted version. Jimin's solo performance, wearing a modernized hanbok just fastened by ties only, had many different dance elements in it! Including the barrel leaps taken from Korean dance elements, some martial arts elements, (trained for 8 yrs in various forms w/blackbelt in Taekwondo), & of course contemporary dance. Also, equally ever so stunningly outstanding, was Jimin's scarf work, which is alone so hard to master, without getting that ever so thin veil of a scarf all tangled! Jimin somehow was able to make the scarf one with himself, using it as an extension, even at one point when he did that amazing jump leap straight up the scarf becoming his wings!! Jimin's whole performance was so amazingly stunningly beautiful. Just so effortlessly breathtakingly mesmerizing to see!!

They all performed live, just for broadcast they switched to prerecorded videos for aesthetic purposes. I saw their performances in black suits instead of white, so they didn't have to change outfits between intro and the song. Except Jimin, yeah, he had to rush to change.

Now, I wonder why you feel the need to stress this? Sure, give credit where credit is due. But this reminds me of when someone praises a team for winning and somebody has to insist that THEY are the one who scored more than the others. Why feel the need to show that one member did this over the other? Have you ever seen the members try to elevate themselves over the other? Can’t stand solo stans.

This is a historical performance BUT I would advise new reactors to listen to more of their discography first. That way you can hear the album version of the tracks and see what they are saying lyrically. You take pot luck with some live performances as the camera work isn't always the best and there isn't always captions. Some will ask you to react to what THEY want to see, not what YOU want to see! Also bear in mind you are watching music spanning 10 years so styles and lyrics etc change and grow as they mature as artists. I look forward to more song reactions.💜

When you take that extra minute and remember this is just for an awards show. There concerts are unbelievable. This but for nearly 3 hours. They are incredible performers. Never disappoint.

So much respect for them. They told to come to award show, ok, now also perform, ok, but they go basically do a concert for free for everyone 💜 And their performances and concerts are full out full production, value unmatched. They also using that balloon panther on their concert for Dionysus opening) And as u read from other comment explained the boys roles as ancient greek Gods on their solo performances also the 7 bulb lights that formed corona borealis star formation, i also want to added other story on Dionysus stage - the giant horn that get blow at the opening is represent Dionysus cup of wine that looks like a horn.it called Dionysus drinking horn - the horses is represent a thracian horse that believe the best war horse that were herd by Thracian horseman tribe. That horseman tribe is worshipping Dionysus (Dionysus followers) - the girls with a bucket of flower is represent Dionysus female followers called Maenad. They will follow n throw a flowers along the road when Dionysus going to travel, and when Dionysus held a party, Maenads will prepare for the wine n dancing. While Dionysus male followers called Satyr, who will play the music on the party - the ivy staff that RM swing at the stage, it's represent Dionysus staff called Thyrsus. Is a staff tipped with a pinecone and twined with ivy.

I’ve watched this performance so many times now it’s sad lol but only because it’s so amazing and not boring what so ever. They’re that talented.

I remembered how jin told story to his members about the producer asked him to just yell at the end of this dionysius song, yeah it was his voice all along.

this might help in identifying them hahaha, they have color customized microphones each. Though some of them have recently changed colors but for this performance, it's still the old ones: RM = blue Jin = pink Suga = black Jhope = red Jimin = gold V = green Jungkook = purple

You're doing a great job learning their names! This is seriously the most amazing performance I've ever seen. I watch it probably once a week, and it never loses its impact. It still boggles my mind that this was at an awards show. Nobody, but nobody, does it like BTS. (For the record, some of these parts were pre-recorded, like Mikrokosmos and JK's dance solo.) #BTS ARMY

My all time fave performance- Dionysus. They almost lost their breaths due to the instense singing and choreo. I still gave goosebumps everytime i rewatch this.

And just think this performance is for a freaking award show, not a BTS concert. I can't watch western award shows anymore unless BTS is there because I find them so underwhelming compared to the performances they pull off in South Korea/Japan. Some of the performance was pre-recorded that's how they were able to change so fast. 15:05 These boys here are part of the group Tomorrow x Together (TxT), which has 5 members. They are part of the same company as BTS, being very young, born between 1997 and 2002. The curious fact is that they were the second group that Big Hit debuted years after BTS, in 2018, if I'm not mistaken. They are considered by BTS to be their little brothers, and TxT considers them older brothers with more experience and advice for them.

As A Greek ARMY I'm proud they used Greek themed stage with Jin on the Troyan Horse after all the song its called Dionysus a Greek God of wine and dance even their previous song mikrokosmos its a Greek word .Love from Greek ARMY BORAHAE ♡♡♡♡

Oh RM is fluent in 3 languages, I've heard he is working on a 4th. Language/sound are a strength cognitively. He teaches himself to speak new languages.

If I’m correct I believe that in one of the years of BTS was performing the award show banded light sticks because there was a lot of army bombs and it was like only their group, turning into like their concert

BTS for me is the only i have seen that got me tired from watching yet fully satisfied i almost want to send some oxygen tanks to them cuz i know how hard to breath would be after every performance. when they say give 100% before the performance.. they eventually gave out 200% equally. amazing artists! one team 7 incredible artists! that is BTS

Yea BTS is great and they never fail to impress but the one thing on my mind was that one time that Joon lifted the staff and put it back on the ground but instead he hit his sack like the clumsy amazing guy he is lmao I love him.

@ 15:12 that wasn't Army, that was BTS's little brother group TXT. They have 3 more members that you didn't see 'cause they were under age and you can't be on live TV after a certain time in SK, when you are under a certain age.

There is NO WAY you can compare our awards show with theirs. This was not a concert. The whole performance was from Greek Mythology. Each one of the members represented a mythical god. The light bulbs coming down made up a queen's crown. Even the horses had a meaning. They did their homework. Maybe one of the ARMY can break done each representation better than I.

Btw this was at an awards show, not a concert! And the fourth song, mikrokosmos, is a song that they’ve often used as the final song to end their concerts. It’s their way of saying good bye to Army/showing us their love.

Right! Because ONLY Jin sings the high notes in BTS, like some magical unicorn arrived and dubbed it ‘Jin’s Era of high notes’ and assigned him the task of singing EVERY high note in every BTS song! Give me a break! We ALL know Jin can now sing high notes; great! - but stop shoving it down everyone’s throats on EVERY song!

@@ArmantoAlex13 *Dionysus era* was jin's era, no one can Denies that, no one Throw others members effort, they all awesome w their singing skills and their impressive high notes, however none of them can do what jin can, none of them can sing his solos not even jimin with his high pitch, So never underate him, ever!

The fact that when rm brought the staff down at the end of the solo stages to begin Dionysus … he missed the floor and whacked himself in the crotch but had to stand there like the professional that he is and not move 😂 that’s about as namjoon as it could be. Walking up so powerful and confident… just the president…. And BAM….. there’s the god of destruction. Lol moral of the story… no matter the best or his worst… rm will always be me president 😊

Every time I watch the performance I think of that! And crack up. 😂💜

I never get tired of watching this MMA, and especially with new reactors. BTS rocks now and always, they give 1000%.
