SUGA is born to be a musician. The level of love he has for music is just insane. Like his whole life revolves around music, he even has a song "First love", which is about how much music means to him. I don't know who is better rapper, for me all of them are equally good, but I would say that he is the most passionate person when it comes to music. As Jin said "our SUGA, he’s a friend who has an immense passion for music. To the point i wonder if he didn’t become a singer or songwriter/producer, what would he be? Everything surrounding him - hobbies, personal life - is all tuned around music"

Nobody suggested Outro:Tear as a song? I think it's the one of the best tracks. Hey, Anthony... if you go down BTS lane, try Outro:Tear. And I think for the lyrics to be able to hit, you need to know it's not talking about a love relationship falling apart. It's about the moment BTS considered disbanding. Things were though and they've put all that fustration, tiredness and pain into a track. Give it a listen if you want. Love your commentaries. And you got some interesting tracks as well. Thats why suga is my bias wrecker. I admired him he is so underrated. His rap he can spit fire and his tongue technolgy. He throw some raw words to the haters. He is swag when he stop rapping in micdrop to proved to the haters that they are not doing lipsync. You cannot under estimate this rapper. His skill for producing songs, making beat lyrics you blown away. He born to be a musician. He put all his life and passion in his music. Thats why he is one of influential rapper and producer in korea. Many artist wants to collab with him even international. Take note he won an awards as best producer.

I don't know who is the "best" rapper, because in every track (solo or group) their flow and cadence change so it depends on your opinion, I guess. But suga is known as the best producer, songwriter and one of the fastest rapper in the whole kpop industry. RM is known for his deep and in your face kinda aggressive rap no matter what kind of flow. And Jhope is known for his bright yet passionate voice and rap. You should listen to their solo works, they all have their own styles which is different from each other

To me all three can rap faster, its just suga's flow is fast even when others' flow is slow in many songs.. That's why he is called one of the fastest rappers, I guess

actually, suga is the whole package. his voice is dope, his pronunciation is clear, he has unique flow and cadences, his fvcking fast rap, he can switch his tones and flow quickly, and he's so versatile that the members call him as a chameleon. then, he got the swag aura and charisma on stage 🔥 he got an attitude of a rapper and the face too. he's the best rapper indeed in kpop industry, no bias just pure facts.

They’re all amazing in different ways. All three got different rap styles so it’s really hard to compare. RM = Lyricism JHOPE = Flow/melodic SUGA = Fast rapping (literally tongue technology)

Agreed. Though I am Suga biased , I still think that there is no difference in skill. I love them all. All of them have different styles and its your choice which style you prefer. I personally like Suga's emotional style. Though on certain bts tracks a really like RM's verses far more. And also my favourite rapline song is maybe Airplane. Haha

My bias is Suga. He is the Mint haired Emperor of my heart. Our Minstradamus. But my favorite rapper is J-hope, personally I like his softer style, almost half singing - Also his sense of rhytm is exellent, because he's their dance leader. But I Adore RM talent with the lyrics, rap and outside of it. His double, triple, quadruple and more entendres kill me. They kill me. Sorry I love his saxy brain, like Jin said! Our rap line can look like softest poetry competition winners - don't try to tell me they are not poets! - Or the most good looking girls, but they all are top level rappers. Honestly they're all amazing in their own way, there's absolutely no need to compare anybody in bts. they wouldn't want that neither would their fans. namjoon (RM) is the king of wordplay/lyrics/english + korean Hobi (Jhope) got those cadences and melodic flow Yoongi (Suga) - his tongue technology. no more words needed. Also keep in mind that Jhope was supposed to be a singer when they first debuted, whilst Suga and RM were famous underground rappers already. Jhope is also lead dancer whilst RM is the leader of the group. They have different areas of expertise that balances out, so it's not fair nor necessary to deduce who is better than who.

This is how ARMYs usually interpret their rapping (I got this from another comment and copied it): RM: is a poet. His lyricism reads, sounds, and works are poetry- a few words have multiple meanings and deviate in multiple chains of thought. Every time you listen to them, you discover new details, new ideas, new insights. Even begin straightforward, there’s still some philosophy or revelation or big question. A poem is full of passion, but every word is chosen carefully, with intention. They’re puzzle pieces has a place to create the full picture. It’s a form of ART. WORDS WITH INTENTION (In short you don’t really know what he is saying because if you aren’t smart or digging into the lyrics a lot, it goes right over most people’s heads.) Suga: lyricism is like “an arrow straight to the heart”: you immediately understand the emotion he’s trying to convey, you don’t even need to know what he’s saying to know “what you’re suppose to feel”. What he says is always interesting too, and it has layers too, but, from the first listen…You usually feel the same way after listening to his song 1000 times. Even when the song is socio-political or when it displays an idea, your first impression is a STAB OF EMOTION forever in your brain. (In short Suga raps with emotion and is clear on what he wants to say/straightforward. You know what he is saying and “if it offends you then that is your problem”) Jhope: lyricism is like a playground, or amusement park. If you do look up lyric videos for BTS songs just letting you know: If you use a lyric video please don’t use Jaeguchi and Lemoring. 1) Both the lyrics and which member is singing frequently wrong because they rush the lyric video out within minutes of a new song dropping. 2) Both use third party to submit copyright claims on and get paid for their lyric videos which is stealing BTS copyright fees for their music. Also I highly recommend looking up lyrics on doolset on your reaction. It has good translations and explains a lot of Korean references and explains wordplay. I am no expert on rapping, but Suga is my absolute favourite of the three. They are so different and so unique in their own right. RM is sharp, commanding, polished, powerful and intellectual. Hobi is unpredictable, flow-y, melodic, super creative, expressive and somehow abstract. Suga is then very visceral, direct, raw, unapologetic, emotional, personal, a story teller. He is also my ultimate bias in BTS. The more you learn about the guy, bigger your respect of him becomes. Nobody touches me on such a deep emotional level as he does. His AgustD mix tape broke me, literally, it changed me. I have never felt so much for anybody else’s music. He is my spirit animal and a guide in times of darkness and pain. One uniquely distinct thing about Suga is how he uses his breath and breathing sounds to underline expressiveness of his rap. I also live for his signature half- mocking half- whiny tone of his voice or shrill squeaks he loves using so much. The guy knows how to utilise his voice to maximum.

Well all of them are super sick. They each have unique and special skills. I like suga savage, free and cool rap. J-hope energetic, happy, and the flow. Rm pronunciation, coolness and western style rap. All of them complete each other. About who faster, i think all of them can reach the same level. All of the rappers in Bts are sick. Same to the vocals too. That is what make them Bts. They each have their own uniqueness and specialities and they complete each other. 💜

What I love about rapline BTS is that they all FIRE FIRE! In some rap group/ band you'll get to have opinions who is better to a certain extent. but then there's bts rapline where each of the are BEST in their own way. To the point where you cannot compare them because their styles are so different to each other when it comes to rap/ music production style (since each of them got their own solo mixtapes). BUT when they rap together in a song, its such perfect harmony - they made BANGERS in their own way but put together in one song so freaking well! Even their delivery in their own verses showcases their differences. BTS rapline is truly in another level of their own. Its their world, we just live in it at this point.

"Call me baepsae" -SUGA Baepsae A Korean bird, called Crow tit in English. There is a common idiom/ saying : "the crow tit will break it's legs trying to walk like a stork". Other translations include try-hard and poser. Basically trying to be something that your not. BTS refers to themselves as baepsae because they are not part of a big name entertainment company and they are still becoming international idol stars. They are proud to be baepsae. MAN, if only you can check every word they use and how they use it, GENIUS! Like say in DDAENG, in RM's verse he used DDAENG in 7 different meanings. Like dude! They are masters.

It's safe to say that BTS rap line all of them are one of the best rappers in the world PERIOD. Comming from a 38 years old who grew up with 2PAC, Nas, Eminem, Snoop and company. This guys are another level, the flow switches, the language techniques, the lyricism .......the mannerism. THEY ARE THE BEST

I would say Suga is maybe the most "complete" rapper. But all of them have their own high level of skills!!

RM and Suga are my two favorite rappers, but JHope OWNED this track. If you watch the live medley... you will see how great his verse is.

Funny you mention Flowsik.. I used to know his english songs before I listened to him in the Korean scene. You should react to his song called Wet, featuring Jessi. Both are from New York/Jersey. Jessi's known as Korea's Cardi B, def need to check her out!! By the way, I think RM is a master of flow/cadence/lyrics when he wants to. You'll hear the technical skill in his song Joke, although the lyrics don't make much sense (I've heard that the lyrics of the song intentionally don't make sense. It's just a song for "auditory pleasure.")

Actually the lyrics make a lot of sense people just need a good translation which I always recommend doolsetbangtan.wordpress.com/2018/06/01/joke/ The whole point of the song is that the lyrics are just as important as the rhyme and flow.
