When RM gets in that zone he is a PROBLEM

For Yoongi’s last line in cypher 4, aside from the meaning that he wishes the haters a healthy life and learn to love themselves, but I think it’s also him saying “Yea be healthy so you can suffer from watching me succeed in life more” and I’m living for this passive aggressiveness

I know people are obsessed with his verses in part 3 and 4 but whos talking about part 2 😭it was SO good

The reason why we say Cypher 2 is for B Free is cuz he's actually from Hawaii (idk raised there or born there) So the "Go to Hawaii, go home" is believed to be directed to him And yes, some people have gotten offended before, but BTS has never actually mention particular people (B Free aside), Suga has said "I never dissed anyone specifically. If someone feel targeted, then it's their problem."

RIP to those who has never heard Rap Mon's 1st mixtape in its entirety. Throw Away, Adrift, Life are gems! His solo music is complex, existential yet affirming! His musically is so versatile, he wrote Joke, Dimple, Black Swan, just to name a few. Never forget he's got 170+ song credits and is responsible for most of BTS' lyrics that sets them apart from other groups 💜

The cyphers def need to be appreciated in order b/c you can def see their growth and maturity in each one. You can see Hobi settling into his style each time. Also Suga’s be mad, I’ma keep earning, be healthy is literally the best mic drop bars to end the whole series.

The thing about cypher 4 is that they can literally make the a whole stadium scream “I love myself”.

i still hope you do read the doolset translations on your own time! cypher lyrics need a lot of explanations cause rap line's wordplay and references... uuuh on another level

Fun fact! supreme boi was one of the original members of BTS but he preferred to just stay as songwriter / producer and also, many of the first bts songs were co-written by him. (Sorry for my English, it's not my first language)

in cypher1 : Hong gil-dong is korean version of Robin Hood. in cypher4 : Samulnori is a performance made up of traditional Korean percussion instruments.

Namjoon starts and plays mind tricks on you, then he tag teams Hobi and he disses you in such a way that you are smiling because he is so positive and gives you a tiny fraction of a break, then he tags Suga and he just straight up murders you.

*just a disclaimer* Since I’m seeing a lot of comments about my dislike for supreme boi’s verse I thought I’d clear some things up so people don’t get the wrong idea here. I’m not going to publicly talk too much about my opinion of Supreme boi because so much of it is unknown with very little facts. I’m here for the music so that’s what I’m gonna focus on NOT the drama. I was criticizing his verse on the track NOT him as a person. This was not me trying to fall into “Cancel culture”. I know that supreme boi had a hand in a lot of the boy’s early work and that he was going to be in BTS but decided not to. I actually think supreme boi has some talent especially when it comes to production but all I was voicing here was that his verse didn’t flow well and that honestly it could have been left out. That’s all I’m gonna say on the Matter. 💜

Ok so i legit lost it when u took out that belt, talk about mood 😂😂😂 Also yes u said my name correctly 💜💜💜 If you feel like you need to give love to the vocal line i would suggest Let Go (live stage mix) - its from their 2018 japanese album, it is an all members song but the vocal line was just on fire. I wouldn't suggest House of Cards and The Truth Untold because u are going through the albums in order and its kind of story line connected. But Let Go is a good choice if you want to step down from the order😁

The guys have the bars, the flow and the swag. After dissing them in the first 3 cyphers, they are telling that they dont care about them and wished everybody well in Cypher 4. That in itself is big clapback to all haters. And nobody answered back. These boys are all fire 🔥🔥🔥

Cypher 2 is my favorite, although JHope only had a small part (he shines in the next couple) but RM and Suga killed it! I’m rap line biased. LOL! Ok. Edited to add I agree with you about the way Cypher 2 was set-up. Supreme Boi opened it, Jhope killed his part, but the spotlight was given to RM and Yoongi to say how they really felt.
