I was watching this and had to laugh when those representatives were raising members' arm. Poor boys seemed confused but stayed collected and just went along with it. I think they were just very excited to meet BTS.

Love that you recap this press conference and had the same reaction I did. I actually had to rewind the Taehyung's raised arm moment 3 times because I was sooooo dumbfounded by the official's action. I know I shouldn't say this (I am not korean) but if these officials are so keen on being seen with BTS (hearts/ handshakes/ pictures) because it doesn't take 10 men to give BTS pins and plaques for 15 mins than maybe they should work on getting BTS military exemptions. This should be a mutual give/ take exchange not for politicans to have a dine and dash moment, just saying. 😒 Those poor members - it was more of a popularity photo op for the officials than it was a congratulatory moment for BTS, at least it was in their own building/ environment. BTW, I loved how sweet Hobi was to lower himself so he is not in the picture frame for each member getting their honorary award.

I agree with this so much. Like the hearts and hand raising was really unnecessary that it looks like the officials just wanted to be seen with the guys. When watching it, I could tell that the guys were surprised and kind of uncomfortable. And I really want them to get an exemption too, but I don’t think it’ll happen unfortunately. Especially with the new president of SK.

I agree! I love the way Our Boys handle these things, but sometimes I can't help thinking that they are being used for their status, and they worked so hard for that, it should also garner the respect they deserve. Cringe-worthy moments indeed. Thank God that dude didn't twist Jin's hand, he probably would have experienced the wrath of ARMY😂 I do love that Our Boys are still Our Boys, that is why we are so protective💜

Stupid politicians embarrassing themselves. So rude, especially that last guy, like trying to get a picture to seem as if bts member was endorsing them. WTF.

The way I cackled throughout the entire video especially at yoongi and hobi's part and also at tae in the end he looked so confused the second hand embarrassment I got from them was astronomical but they were cute funny mistakes I would've messed up way worse💀😭

Suga was all, "Let's see how you like it!" And Tae looked like a little kid being force marched out of a store by his mom at the end there.
