this song has a official storyline on spotify so this was approved by bts that this is the meaning of the song. Spotify storyline: “Louder than bombs” tells the story of how sadness and fear grow as one encounters stories of pain around the world. The message that “we will continue to listen to your story and will never stop singing, so speak yourself” intensifies with the song’s brisk yet grand atmosphere. it reminds me of multiple instances how things are happening around the world and all people have issues they need to face either collectively in their country or individual hardships. bts have performed everywhere and they have fans in many countries they havent performed yet too. ive seen armys in Ukraine post about how bts music is helping them right now and when they were in train stations hiding from bombs a jhope poster was up in the train station as the week before they were celebrating his birthday as armys do around the world. when the hong kong protests were happening there were pictures of armys holding signs with bts lyrics and some of them had dropped their bt21 merch characters (that bts created) when they were being arrested for protesting. ive seen many posts around the world of bts lyrics being used for social issues protests and to empower and uplift armys everywhere. even for people with issues at home/family or mental health issues everyone puts their lives on a pause to enjoy the concerts in person when they attend they talking about how they know though armys are smiling at the concerts theres sadness in their eyes and theyll have to face it once they leave the concert the same way bts have their own problems that they have to face once the concert is finished. bts is basically saying regardless of what live armys lead that theyll be there to uplift us in whatever way they can and theyll always sing to us when we need them.

In a video, Jin raised Awake by 1 more key, so that’s 5 keys higher. Jimin tried to hit the note but failed, Jin belted that note perfectly

It depends on what sound a person wants to create. The point is that both of them are great vocalists (all of the vocal line are).There is no need to compare.

Louder than bombs is just a masterpiece, my favorite part is the promise that no matter what happen they will be there for us also how the song progresses from "I brake" then "I say" and last "I sing"

If you sit down and read the lyrics like they're a letter, it becomes clear that this song is speaking directly to ARMY. The "shadow beneath the cheers" and the "silent sorrow" are referring to the struggles and pain that ARMYs feel in their daily lives. BTS has been told many stories of how their music has helped people through dark times. You, yourself, even have such a story. This song is the boys acknowledging what their music means to ARMY. They say that they aren't sure if bein idols and having such an effect on other people's lives is the right thing to do, but they don't want anyone to give up their lives. They say that if they don't sing for and help ARMY, then who will? Jimin even says that they chose this "game". There were times when they ran away from ARMY, from their fame and the pressures of their career, but they aren't going to do that any more. There are other songs where they sing about running away or turning away from ARMY, like "Make it Right", especially Lauv's verse. They say that they will continue to sing for us. The song is basically an acknowledgement from BTS to ARMY of how BTS' music has literally saved lives and a promise to continue singing, for us. Granted, this is my interpretation of it, but just reading the lyrics, it's a fairly literal interpretation.

@@Ariel-iz9hv you’re right, all the vocalists are layered at the end but I don’t think Jimin was the lead for the full thing. It seems to switch and flow very smoothly from Jimin at the start, to Jin, to Jungkook and finally Tae. Whereas Jimin does the majority (of course not all but most) of harmonies throughout the song

jin and jimin are both solid tenors. jin has a powerful chest voice, jimin has a strong mix. jin usually has a gorgeous vibrato and jimin has a unique twang. these two claim that the other has a higher voice -- we just enjoy the beauty of it all as armys. 💜 all bts vocalists have crazy range but different techniques and of course vocal tonality. it's basically subjective and only a matter of preference but you can't go wrong with these men. 💜

I resonate with this and the meaning behind it. Some of the lyrics I felt were written for me and I am sure most ARMY. I have a travel business and the jealousy, sly remarks, and not being supported are unbelievable. I came to the point of wanting to give up and that is when BTS 'found' me. Now I have learned to love myself, let haters be haters, and enjoy my business which is my dream and goal in life.

This song makes me cry sometimes. RM said when he worked on this song he cried too. I think you would have to dig deep inside to actually understand this song in its depth. I love your thoughts too. Thank you! :)

This song is another that makes me wonder how often do artists almost break the fourth wall talking directly to their fandom the way that BTS does. I’ve seen a few other kpop groups do so but is this common and I just noticed it with their songs for Army more? Anyhow the song itself is so beautiful on all levels. It's not the high pitch about why people praising Jimin. It's the kind of vocal tone that Jimin's voice has. The uniqueness that no one can copy.. OMG, why other people don't realize that. Yeah, other people can also sing high pitch but the kind of tone is the main concern. And Jimin has!

FYI, the song was originally co-written by Troye Sivan, of course lyrics then adapted to Korean by Big Hit once BTS were going to record it. And, as always RM, Suga and J-Hope writing their verses.

Jimin's voice is beautiful, angelic sure the others sing well too and jin can play high notes, but i prefer jimin

Because it is Jimin who hits 75% of their highnotes from debut. Jin didn't even get that much of line in their earlier days.

I’m so glad you said this. I wish there was an official video to LTB or that they would actually play it live in concert. As for getting the voices wrong it’s understandable for newer people to the fandom (once they listen enough they’ll know :) )

I feel like you should’ve watched the color coded cause one of the parts you said “I like how Jimin smooth in there” or something like that and it was Jin not Jimin. And you were confused on Suga part thinking it was Taehyung but it was yoongi. That wasn’t really the really MV it’s a fanbase one anyway.
