Awww poor Ian. So basically he is like a werewolf, only when the full moon rises, he becomes evil. 😥 I hope they can find a cure for Ian's condition or at least something so he doesn't transform to his "shadow" self.

The werewolf idea is an interesting take but I think his “shadow self” is the dark parts of himself that he has to learn to accept. Just as with anyone, your shadows are also you. You’ll never have complete control and a real sense of yourself if you don’t learn to accept the good AND the bad.

@@sugky5236 Thats true. Cooky and Jooky were willing to accept Ian for what he is, in doing so Ian, for the moment was able to accept himself as well for his shadow being one part of himself. But because he felt bad for what he did to Jooky, I guess he assumed Cooky would never forgive him and left because he thought that was the easier way out. He in now back to square 1 where he once again thinks of his shadow is not being himself, as a monster. He need to learn to love himself and his condition. The shadow does not define him, its a part of him. So you are right, once Ian learns that his shadow is another part of himself and it learns that he can decide who he wants to be, i think he will be able to get a better handle on his shadow/condition to the point where when he does transform, he will be able to better control and be conscious of what his "other self" is doing at that moment.😊

i love how the team doesn’t make at21 to be the villainous, corrupted, all-evil antagonists to bt21. they’re just good people who are in a bad place, and so they (will) make bad decisions. and that’s real life, you know? you don’t want to hurt/be hurt, it just happens, and we change along the way. i hope these fellas get shown a lot of love later on, and truly learn and experience real love, cos knowing someone is on your side, feeling loved and cared for is really what we need during hard times in our life.

I think Ian started to turn his guilt and self-hatred into anger as a way to disguise his real feelings. And this was encouraged by Chief who also had self-hatred which led to him hating Chimmy after he didn’t manage to be courageous enough to become Chimmy’s friend. In the end, that’s why knowing how to Love Yourself first is so important. 💜

this story is so sad even though it’s animated 😭 ian never meant to hurt his friends and he felt so abandoned :(

The animosity against Cooky in the further episodes... well, that's still not solved, maybe as he became a part of AT21 and against Cooky and his fellow friends (BT21) afterwards, he tried to hide from Cooky. *It isn't clear till now, it could be anything,* maybe he became jealous of Cooky, or was sad that Cooky left the two for BT21, or as we saw, the "ominous shadow that had been asleep, awoke" So, it could be that the power went out of control and well, yeah. I'm just making all these theories but I'm sure AT21 is connected to him for the matter. So, yeah. Both Chief and Ian have a sad backstory

So far, the “villains” don’t actually hate the opposite side Like Chief just doesn’t like Tata And Ian wants to protect his friends ;n;

Have you seen the differences among their eyebrows? Jooky's eyebrows is straight so his character is easygoing and open to everyone. Cooky's are different, one straight and one lifted, it means he has a balance between his evil and good sides. But Ian's both eyebrows are lifted, from that we get his evil side is stronger and no good side is seen. I hope you get my point 😊😊😊

That ain't how it works... I love bts but it didn't fix my problems,,, it only gives me an escape from them. The problem are still there,,, living throught it is still hard,,, Quarantine still makes me sad,,, and I can't keep up

The fact that this animation is far better than the ones shown on TV. Children should watch this and learn life lessons/values with BT21.
