A proper way to kick start, side stand up and straddling the seat! Well done!
Groovy old bike, miss seeing them around.
It must be very low compression; not only does it turn over easily while kicking, the exhaust sound is quite subdued for a straight through system. A tractable beast then.
Reminds me of the Japanese 500's and the XL600, which wasn't overly tall. The BSA is the looker though.
One of my favourite channels.. Why its not huge I'll never understand.. Please do something with the Land Rovers especially the pinky red pick up in the background.. The bike is a beaut... As well

Hey, thanks for your nice comments. Unfortunately they aren't our Land Rovers!
They don`t make fabulous bikes like that anymore...
Should be 10 to 1 would sound much better
Much nicer than that punjabi thingy
Great bike but talk to anyone who was around 28 to 35 years old when BSA introduced this and the other silver version they were not actually anything special. We must not forget this. We must not try to re-interpret history based on modern opinions? BSA back then were at best 4th in line to Triumph and Norton. My Dad was a Triumph speed twin rider back then and in his words the BSA models were o.k. but not really anything special. Today any of these iconic motorcycles are very, very special but lets keep it in context to how they were regarded back then?
