I had one of those chopped back in 72. Just tickle those Amals, kick it twice, and boogie! I loved that old bike! 🇬🇧🇺🇲🤝

That is inspirational! I pick my A65 up in a week and am now more excited than ever. I was fixated on a pre-unit Triumph, but the A65 has won me over. The more I found out about the A65 the more I liked them.

I'm a Single Cylinder man - ex- Gold Star Rider - but even I can appreciate what Craig has done with this Thunderbolt. I have always been - and still am - a big fan of Chrome on vehicles. This one's the Dog's Bo11ocks. Russ. UK

I am pleasantly surprised how good it looks in white and chrome. You certainly have the right climate to keep it looking that way!

Fantastic rebuild sir, interesting to see how you moulded the seat base. Doesn't look like it's going to be a garage queen, hope you put plenty of miles on it. Much respect for your skills from the UK.

White and chrome look way better together than I thought they would. That thing is perfection. What tank did you use? It's different than the one that came on the bike.

The Gas tank was custom made, it is not the Original tank that came with the bike

My hat is off to anyone who can take an old bike and make it look and run new again. I've restored cars and trucks earlier in my life and I'd love to do an old motorcycle especially a BSA. But I'm afraid with age comes laziness. I know where I can buy a Thunderbolt that needs restored but they want almost $5000 for it and I think that is too much for a bike in it's condition.

Do you guys do any upgrades when you rebuild the engine such as crank bush replaced with ball bearing, added oil galley , newer oil pump ?

@@craiggebauer7519 .But if you sold this to me you could do another one with 750 barrels , end crank oil feed much nicer paint finish and nitro injection and much better frame and so many other things like girder forks and a fat rear tyre and bagger fairing and a stereo music system . You just know that you can do better & I want to buy it !! Think of the money. Jonny (Ludlow Shropshire UK )

Clearly my attempt at humour has failed = just a smashing looking bike and looks pretty unique . If you choose to build a clone then count me in / Jonny Shropshire UK
