    It depends where he will go. There had been so many so good QB`s who had amazing pro days and then they`ve been drafted to the mediocre teams and things went bad very quickly, Sam Darnold is for sure one of them. I remember what people were saying about Darnold and if I am right he`ll be back up in 49ers next season to Purdy or Lance. There is only few QB`s who brought their teams to the next level and question is is he one of them. All these guys know how to throw the ball but can they handle the NFL pressure against best of the best ?

  • @BulletProofSoul1029

    @BulletProofSoul1029

    Look Bryce Young is a great QB. He's a Heisman winner so that's say everything about his ability. But for Steve Smith to say CJ Stroud doesn't process quickly, spin the ball, have any timing and is basically all measurables, well that's a borderline criminal take if your an analyst. And to knock Stroud's competition? His best game was against the game's best defense WITHOUT his #1 WR, #1, 2, & 3 RB and #1, 2, & 3 TE. Then to add Stroud can't spin it and doesn't have touch....touch. What are we doing here Steve. I know short guys gotta stick together, but c'mon bruh. Ohh. and Stroud ran a Pro style offense requiring routine Pro level throws plus he had free reign to audible. Again, no shade to Bryce. That young man has worked hard form this opportunity and deserves every blessing coming his way. I'm just correcting the record.

  • @mrfamousamos9819

    @mrfamousamos9819

    Жыл бұрын

    @@BulletProofSoul1029 I don’t think he was necessarily shading CJ, a lot of people have been comparing them two very similar amongst the same level. Steve was simply pointing out some of the differences, and since it’s is Bryce’s pro day he’s going to point out his strengths over CJ. I’m sure it would’ve went the same way if he was commentating on CJ’s pro day. What he said wasn’t wrong it might have been exaggerated to a extent due to the basis of the event.

  • @BulletProofSoul1029

    @BulletProofSoul1029

    Жыл бұрын

    @@mrfamousamos9819 I have nothing against Young, again I'm rooting for him to succeed. But it's ridiculous to say Stroud has "no touch" as a gauge of separation between the two. There's a play against Toledo where Stroud drops it 30 yds down field to Marv at the sideline, with like 4 defender around him. It was so crazy the announcer at first called it "lucky", like it was one Stroud got away with, because he couldn't believe Stroud did it on purpose. The replay proved otherwise. That's just a drop in the bucket (npi) to what he did all season. It just feels over the top to say so that patently false.

    Stroud looks to be years ahead of young in accuracy, arm strength, and more importantly timing. If he isn't waiting too long to throw, then his receiver is waiting on the ball. I don't see a #1 pick here. I see a manziel clone but probably a much nicer gentleman and student. And that will probably keep him in the league longer than johnny "instagram and some football.. If there's time" manziel. Seems like the same conversation that was had for tua, and baker mayfield not long ago. Troy Smith might be a very good comparison. Id draft one of the corners first. There is some serious te talent in this draft too. Q. How do bad teams stay bad for decades? A. Keep drafting quarterbacks early and often, because you need one, in just a few seasons this strategy will rob the rest of the team of talent. Then no qb will look good in your uniform and you can.. You guessed it! Keep drafting quarterbacks!

    Bryce is the best qb in the draft, if he wasn’t short we wouldn’t even have any discussion about who’s going 1! He’s on another level! If this man’s end up in Detroit!

    Young’s the only QB in this draft in my opinion that’s can’t miss. He’s gotta be 1st overall, he gives me chills, does it all, intelligent and a winner. He’s different cause he’s ready to run a pro style offense from day one. His learning curve look smaller than the rest, and that leads to early and lasting success

    Something very underrated about Bryce young is that he set all his protections at the line. College coaches either don’t make most QBs do that or won’t because they can’t do it. Saban trusted young and he picked up a lot of blitzes pre snap. Very smart kid way better than everyone else in his class. If he was 6’4” he’d be Andrew luck 2.0

    if you actually watched and understood tape you would know that Bryce processes info quite a bit faster than all the other QB prospects and has the most responsibility over his offense than anyone else.. he's the closest thing to brees from his stature to how he processes information pre and post snap.. CJ is nowhere near him in that department

    What!? No he doesn’t 😂😂😂. Bryce’s mechanics and release are much smoother… did you watch these guys play in college? Furthermore Bryce is rapid at getting through his progression and adjusts his reads and body to defensive coverage very quickly. CJ is a superb quarterback prospect but all he literally has is physicality over Bryce.

    Genuine question here... What is the point of the Pro Day and even the Combine? Scouts watch most of these guys play against the best athletes for 3 years straight. What value does them throwing against no defense have? Almost everybody looks good in drills so what's the point? They have 3 years of film on the guys, what else are they looking for? I'm genuinely curious.
