I loved hearimg Nathan and Bryan on this. Nathan's interpretation sounded melodic, Bryan's with the rock flavor. Maddi sounded a bit shouty.

I love The Cure and I love this song. I think this was easily my favorite performance of it. I guess all he bad comments about it are people who hate change. This is actually the second time that I myself have seen The Cure on the voice. Check out Nini Iris rendition of Lovesong. Blew me right tf away.

Well … I’m not sure what song you were listening to. This was a horrible choice for Nathan and Maddie. It was perfectly suited for Bryan, and he sounded great … but as a trio, it was not the right song at all!

I forget alot lol on whose team who is on 😅... So whomever their judge/s are... are probably to blame 😢 they would of rehearsed this in front of the judges too... 😢 They sound shocking !! ❤️‍🩹🥺❤️‍🩹 And the judges knowing full well that it was not a good choice to showcase their voices... Is just wrong ☹️☹️☹️ I bet Maddi Nathan & Bryan will be voted off..... The show will definitely be 💯 known as rigged fo sho then !!!!! I know it's going to be Reba with Asher winning this season.... Came to watch because it was The Cure. Such an iconic song reduced to meh. Key issues: 1. It's hard to replicate the effect of Robert Smith's yelpy tone, one of the most bizarrely unique tones in music industry. 2. The song is one of their best examples (of many) of building a wall of sound, where layer after layer of instruments come together, which doesnt work in this format. 3. It felt like the two guys were singing in one key and the lady half a note lower with clear sync issues. I was wondering which of their songs could've been better - maybe the more straightforward "Why can't I be you" could've clicked.

Their solo lines were fine, but any time they tried to sing together it just did not blend at all. Hard to listen to I fear.

Love this song!! This was not the best trio for it. Nathan has an amazing voice; Maddie is great … but this was absolutely NOT their song! It WAS Bryan’s. He sounded perfect for it. I wish he had done the whole thing solo!

You know they always do. Alternative rock is hard to sing and give it justice. They've butchered a Blondie song so you know they were going to butcher this one. You have to be an alternative artist to do it well. Gwen and her group did great with their version of Burning Down the House a few seasons back.

What in the world was this? This trio did not go well together at all honestly and this felt too cheesy for me. Sometimes I like cheesiness but this is too much. That was bizarre. I thought I was watching The Masked Singer.

This was like a high school show choir performance. Yikes.

I really don’t think it was as bad as everyone in this comment section seems to think it was… you all seem so bitter good lord…

It was awful. But another poster suggested watching it back on 2x and that actually makes it sound good. Bryan is the only one that this worked for. Overall … awful!!

CRINGE. Making 3 grown singing talents whirl around like ridiculous teletubbies to something that used to be a goth song is just an obscene mockery of the performers, the material and us the audience. Whatever producer(s) came up with this should be fired.

Oddly enough, this was the best of the trio. It became gradually worse! The worst being the trio where they're in this guy's bedroom with a giant furry chasing him around and dancing with him. I'm not kidding. NBC is using the Voice as a promo for some movie. They're shameless.

Maddi and Nathan are amazing but this rendition of the song was really bad.

This was a MEGA hit song back in the 80's by a British band called The Cure...great band! Only old school Brian did it justice and sounded the best imo. Check out the official video from The Cure and how many views it has and read some of the comments. The song is called...'Just Like Heaven'🥰 It's a CLASSIC!!

Chances are Maddie thinks she sounded horrible on her own. It was not her best performance. It was also not Nathan’s best performance. Totally the wrong song for both of them. It only suited Bryan.
