I think that Bruticus Maximus is the best of the 3 combiners. he has issues, but still an awesome figure combined

the 'official' combination is: Stormcloud- right leg. Blint- right arm. Blackout- left arm. Kickback- left leg. and, of course, barricade in the center.

Difference about Swindle on Superlink he's olive green instead of Yellow on the Energon toy blight.

These guys were always great in theory and concept .

on takara version transformers superlink is a box set, in hasbro version transformers energon is a individual which means collect and combine.

Barricade Is Also The Name Of The Guy That Fights Bumble Bee.

Glad to see Bruticus getting some love. But i like to display mine with the tanks on the bottom and the helicopters on top, to do this without making him bowlegged just take the inside tread on each tank unpeg it and fold it behind him, you can hook it on the peg on his heel if need be

This one is my favorite of the 3 Maximus combiner teams, mainly because Barricade as the torso holds together better than Steamhammer or Storm Jet. In fact, he is one my favorite of all combiner teams, period, though I'm still waiting to complete the Beast Hunters Abominus.

The one I have is Bruticus but, repainted from ROTF the connector ports some of them broke off and I gave up having him because, it was used from Ebay.

for mine, since I don't have any of the limbs, Ilike to take the panel out that has Bruticus's head out (it is on a separate panel that can be taken out & put back in), & position the backpack just like for bruticus mode, but with the wheel panels out like wings. although this limits hus amazing light piping, it it makes him a lot less top heavy. just a little tip.

What's interesting about the drones thing you said is that the toy bios state otherwise. Did the cartoon people just not agree? Did they not receive the actual bios? Who knows!

My construction max holds together fine, but the hands/feet are lame and, as with all the energon combiners, 2 molds for 4 limbs always annoys me. Glad to hear you're getting the upgrade kits, I was hoping you'd acquire/review them

Spada, a tip with the helicoptors is the guns have an area colored purple and orange to tell which gun goes with the coptor bots

Why don't you review Constructicon Maximus. I only saw you review Bruticus and Superion Maximus

In Superlink, he was just Bruticus.

It kills me to watch this; my neighbors gave me a box of toys when i was 5 and barricade was one of them. It drove me crazy trying to figure out why this guy had a second head (since it was one of my first transformer toys) and watching this 13 years later makes me wish i still had him

dude, literally the same thing happened to me with energon steamhammer. my parents got the universe version for me at ross, and since the packaging didn't mention the combining ability at all, i always wondered why he had another head. i bought the full set a couple years ago though, so it's kind of come full circle.

I loved that episode he killes him then gets his limbs blone up then says to the Dead Constructicon Your Busted and takes hil limbs but after the fight Superion looked dead aswell.. Its Explorer and My Crossfire sets were shipped 2 days ago Off Kapow so I should get them tommorow

I only bought this figure because I needed to beef up my combiner toys, since there weren't all that many.. As soon as Fansproject brought out their Crossfire addons.. That completely changed the look.. It actually felt like a real combiner.. Sad to say that the Combiner wars toys tower over this guy..

He was killed in that episode while being a statue and we never knew his name, however there is a popular theory in which there is the possibility that he was the energon version of Defensor.

I know they had a jet equivalent of this but I forgot his name.

I’m sorry to point this out, but you made some inaccuracies in this video review. First of all, the Energon Constructicon combiner’s name is Constructicon Maximus. Secondly, the helicopter weapon with the orange color belongs to Stormcloud, while the purple one belongs to Blackout. Third, the correct configuration of Bruticus Maximus is the following: Blight, the olive/lime Decepticon, forms the right arm, Blackout, the purple Decepticon, forms the left arm, Kickback, the green Decepticon, forms the left leg, and finally, Stormcloud, the orange Decepticon, forms the right leg. And fourth, you didn’t address the drone limbs by name.

It just called the purple dudes arms legs

+Kids Are Funny actually the tanks are real-world inspired, there anti-air tanks created by the German bundesweher as the first anti-air radio tank

Just my personal opinion, but I think it’d look better with Lime and Orange swapped. Symmetry and all that.

Transformers Energon, also called Super Link in Japan.

Japanese names are Barricade-Onslaught Blackout-Blast off Stourmcluod - Vortex Blight -Swindle Kickback - Brawl and Constructicon Maximus not Constuictin Maximus .

I'd like these guys allot more if they didn't go the cheap rout and just have three robots and a recolour of the two limb bots. I can kind of understand it with superion but still feels very lazy

Cick back and blight also known as the tanks, are not the easyest. Heavyload and dust storm on constructicon maximus are esier. you keep the weapon on and thats it for arm mode.

pretty cool but not a fan of the drone concept
