Brutally Cold! (January 12, 2024)

Wyoming cold at it's best. Hawking with -15F temperatures with a 15-20 mph wind makes for some brutal wind chill. Clyde, the gyrkin, loves it. Cosmo the first year prairie falcon, and the dogs, Astro and Pongo, don't seem to mind too much. The human, Steve, on the other hand is the weak link.

With Clyde the colder the better. When flying gyrs I have what I call my "long sleeve, long underwear rule." If I'm not wearing long underwear I don't expect much. If I'm not wearing long sleeves I don't even fly them.
