If you ever fantasize about communism, I suggest you talk to someone 50 or older whom lived in such a society. I have friends who grew up in Russia, Poland and DDR in the 70s and 80s. I have talked to people who escaped from Cambodia in the 70s. It's awful. Just to give an example of life in old DDR: You weren't aloud to just buy a house or a car. You had to apply, and maybe you'd get a small apartment or a tiny 2 stroke car from the government. You couldn't just get whatever food you wanted. In America, you work or starve. In communism, you work AND starve. Capitalism isn't perfect, but it's better than communism.

Me when propaganda 'free thinker' you clearly don't know what communism is, you're talking about socialism, soviet socialism, ask a 50+ yo pos soviet person and they'll all say that things were better, post soviet countries are not even a quarter to what the USSR ever was. Late stage capitalism sucks, stop messing with communists in 2024, grow up and don't ask yourself why fascism is (once again) on the rise, still doing way more propaganda against communism than you all have ever done against fascism, even after USSR dissolution 30+ years ago, because we all know that fascism is just rotten and reactionary captialism, socialism is POST capitalism.

@@Zekent Do you really think countries like Estonia and Poland are NOT better off today than during the Soviet Union? And not everything is about economics, but also about freedom and independence. They have it much better now in a capitalist and free society than during the authoritarian regime ran from Moscow. Read some history, and not Russian propaganda.
