@@Admiral_Bongo They're one of the most succesful, sure, but still not as successful as Cannibal Corpse/Morbid Angel/Obituary, so i would not be surprised if being in a band at the Nile level (big in death metal, but not huge either) could be a bit tight revenue-wise (also : don't forget that bands make money mostly from touring now, and Nile doesn't seem to tour as much as they used to, or at least not more, while album sales (and revenue) have dropped significantly). I'm not saying you can't make a decent living by being in Nile. I'm just saying it's very likely that it can be tight money-wise.

I enjoyed the hell out of this video, and this is maybe the most animated I've ever seen them onstage--the fist bump between Karl and the bassist says it all and shows that I think this is the happiest and most excited lineup of Nile I've ever seen, and I've seen them live many a time in the last 17 years or so.

Few people came around, asked him for photos and to sign their albums. He clearly looked tired, so i left him alone to relax.

Brad and Karl's chemistry on stage is surreal. Being a band that has gone through many bass players, I truly hope Brad is here for the long haul. I as well as many others, I'm sure were gutted when Dallas announced his departure from the band. Brian though has definitely proved he is the only other person on earth for his replacement. His voice is absolutely identical to Dallas', which is what I'm sure most fans were worried about. Vile Nilotic Rites has become one of my favorite albums from this fantastic band and I pray to the non-existent god that this line up is the final one until Karl lays this endeavor to rest. ALL HAIL NILE!

I'm so impressed by Brian though, he sounds very similar and takes good care to preform the growls in the same way Dallas did. He seems to have very good range, just like Dallas. So glad he bothered to do a really low 'trees' at 14:05
