I watched an interview of Tamela and David Mann. She has the voice that ushers in serenity, tranquility hope and joy. Her husband kept pushing and pushing. She kept giving excuses and excuses...until he was soo adamant . she eventually gave in to starting a solo career. So the short answer is, they are content with being the background vocals. They don't SEE how magical their voices are. Also it can be that singing/ performing wont put food on the table of young n growing family💫💙. He's a hidden gem💫
