Her musicality is unbelievable! It felt like she would be able to express anything in and out of this world using her voice and keys. I am a musician, and I have never heard anyone being able to do what she does. I do not like "sorry" that much - too sentimental - but I loved this!

It's rigged for TV in my opinion - I mean come on, between her first and second performance it's day and night, amazing coincidence she is asked to sing a second song, and immediately has one and gives a stellar performance, I have seen this pattern all the time on these shows, they get second chances and nail it, there's lots about this show that people do not know - these contestants get pre-selected and audition before producers first, people good AND bad are chosen, for TV and ratings, so yeah it's stunning how her first performance was not all that good BUT her second one was amazing - I do not think those are coincidences. Some people on these shows clearly win the sympathy votes and don't have much talent. But Putri, now THAT is talent, and I'm sure during the initial auditions with producers she was probably told to go with her first song choice first and to choose a second song.

Yes.. I have been watching AGT for years. One thing I learned is that whenever Simon asks for another song, just know that he sees talent, but he wants to confirm without any reasonable doubt.

Best I've heard in a long time. Generational talent. I heard Whitney in her voice, I heard Stevie Wonder, I felt every note and every nuance. And what a sweet young lady. Juilliard would be lucky to have her. That original song should win her a grammy if she releases it.

The title helped me find her. I saw a clip of her without her name, and no other way to find her. By typing in the word blind singer, it narrowed it down to the point where she could be found. She got the golden buzzer because of her talent not because she’s blind, but there’s no reason for you to be upset that people recognize that she is blind, or that they put blind in the title. The Indonesian government awarded her a four year music scholarship to the school of her choice after her golden buzzer performance on AGT. She has been visiting the Julliard School of Music in New York recently. I hope she gets in, but a school closer to her home & family would be a better idea.

She deserved the golden buzzer.so sweet.

She does have an amazing voice, good for her and her family for letting her and supporting her in her vocal practice to reach this point in her life. I hope she get's everything she wants. Music must be one of her greatest joys in life, i can't even begin to imagine what i would do if i was blind.

The Indonesian government awarded her a four year music scholarship after her golden buzzer performance on AGT. She has been visiting the Julliard School of Music in New York recently. I hope she gets in, but a school closer to her home & family would be a better idea.

I disagree with the later part of your comment. I think getting away from home and expanding your horizon is much more healthier for anyone. Experiences makes a person grow and learn. And if she want's a career she has to get out of her comfort zone and accept what comes with fame. That is the price one has to pay for the benefits of what stardom allow you to do in the world.@@georgebuck2269

Love her so much!!!!!!

She deserves that GOLDEN BUZZER for her beautiful voice.

Even not all adult singers, able to speak in front big crowd/audiences fluently, let alone singing that well, no auto tune, let alone sitting & playing piano. On top of that I even exclude her disability. Putri is inspiration, not even many other decades to come, such inspiration may presents. 💟

Saying someone is blind is not an insult. It’s just a fact. As a blind person, I own it and I have no idea why people think having a disability is something we should be ashamed of. People are always asking me if there’s a “more polite” way of saying blind as if it’s an insult or something. We aren’t failures because we are blind. We are champions.

@@judyives1832 it doesn't mean that it's an insult. The girl said right at the beginning : I'm not a blind singer, I'm a musician. A painter is a painter whether they paint with lips, feet or hands. No need to differentiate when they 'compete' with more able people. Art is art.
