The perfect first date is always to bring someone to an Asian supermarket or any interesting grocery store. My philosophy: anyone can have fun at a fancy resturant or a movie, so it's good to show that you can have fun doing ordinary things.

That supermarket DEFINITELY deserves its own series.

Pro-tip: heat up the pizza on a pan on the stove- this is what I used to do before I got an airfryer and was without an oven! Can’t wait to check out the supermarkets in Korea when I visit in October- so excited to grub.

The best first date idea: bring them to an Asian supermarket, or really any unique grocery store. Show someone you can have fun doing ordinary things!

Everyone “there’s a reflection of a woman in a surface, must be his future wife”. Mikey almost always has friends filming with him, even when he seems to be alone. Noticing a reflection doesn’t mean he has a secret girlfriend. And even if he does, great for him. I would think if Mikey had a girlfriend and he wanted people to know, he would tell them.

I would bet people who haven't eaten in days in 3rd world countries get more excited than Mikey.

I've loved what you do for many years but watching you in this video just made me want to thank you for all you have done for eaters of the world. As an Englishman who has never been in a position to travel I ardour watching you explain the down to earth and luxury places to eat and explain the way things go together, on this planet. BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO X

When I travel, there's nothing I love more than going to local supermarkets to have a close look at what they have to offer and buy lots of strange looking snacks, drinks and toiletries. Sadly, most people do not share this sentiment. I was told it's weird but 🤷‍♀️.

Not at all.. I would be so in awe of what they offer that we don't have in the USA. *And a quick education in Korean cuisine. I love a soft fried egg sandwich w/ strawberry jam on toast. No other jam works for me. But others may like blueberry jam. Different strokes (tastes) for different folks.😎

Mikey! Thank you for another Food Tour! Our local Korean Galleria Grocery in Toronto is 1/10 the size but always great quality! Crazy you bought that entire seafood cook-up for $18.00. The equivalent here would be at least $70-$90 easily. Those strawberries looked "fake" and I mean that in the most complimentary way because they are so PERFECT looking! Thanks again Mikey, stay safe and healthy!

I guess she was also there in his hotel room as there was clearly someone else there judging from the reflections behind him. Which makes sense just from a need to have someone else there to help eat all that food as it looks like too much even for Mike.

I miss home. Idk how great it is now but I loved the Asian market at the WE mall. Was a lot of fun to go and grab a snack or drink for the arcade/mall walk. Also, when done right I think whataburger is *one of* the best fast food burgers out there.

This dude gets suggested on my feed from time to time and he never fails to make me hungry!! I truly enjoy and envy him scarf down his food.

The best part of waking up, is a morning burger in your cup!

I have the greatest time in grocery stores. Best date place ever! We have our local T&T, Hanam, and H-mart. But I go to Richmomd (BC, Canada) for a good time lol. Went to a dimsum place that Mikey went to (pre-covid) and it was amazing. It felt surreal at the time eating the same thing as him hahaha.
