I don't know about that, I actually think shows for kids are better quality and more mature nowadays (ones like Gravity Falls, We Bare Bears, Over The Garden Wall etc.) Sure, there were mature shows back in the 90's and early 2000's too like Hey Arnold, Daria etc. But due to the current nostalgia generation, shows aimed at kids (especially in animation) have higher standards than it used to, which means better quality material...for the most part.

demenal Yeah! I was born on the millennium. Favourite shows were Brum, Numberjacks, little robots, big cook little cook, the koala brothers, charlie and lola, fireman Sam, noddy, bill and Ben, andy pandy, the grizzly tales, toddworld and rolie polie olie.

I love to love this show when I was young, I lived in Australia. The opening was filmed in Birmingham on Aston Uni Campus, coincidentally where my father went to uni.

Getting back for your home dinner, watching the last bit of Brum before Wipeout and a bit of Working Lunch.

I live in Birmingham now and only just realised that I am living in the city of my childhood.

I finally found it! I was asking my aunt if she remembered this. I was like "you remember that yellow car the had the eyes?" she thought I was crazy smh

Yes the first half of the melody is very similar! The chords are what make it slightly different afterwards I think.

Had goosebumps watching this it just brings back my childhood I still have old VHS tapes of this I would always get up and dance to this intro why don't they make shows like this these days I was born in 2000 even though Brum was made in the 90s the ABC our government channel would always play this and I loved it and by far the best show ever created

I loved it I still got the DVD still intact from 50 years man I wish I was a kid again 😢.

I had the biggest smile on my face, chills all over, about to tear up. Nostalgia at its finest.

I remember watching direct TV when I first found this at 17 years old and I always made sure to change the channel right at 7:30 AM to hear this closing. I don't know any of the characters or why the car Is alive, but this song is why I know brum. Idk who she is, but I had a big crush on the lady in yellow. Lol.

I teach Music at a secondary school, one of my Year 10 pupils reminded me of this today. It was a beautiful moment to share nostalgia with someone who's 15 years old. Makes me feel a lot younger!
