Bruiser - Inept Q
Комедия
David Mitchell as harebrained Q and Martin Freeman as the hapless secret agent in sketches from the short-lived, one-series-only sketch show 'Bruiser' (2000) starring Olivia Colman, Martin Freeman, Matt Holness, Charlotte Hudson, David Mitchell and Robert Webb.
I must say, I love the wigs. David looks so cute when it's standing on end. And Martin looks good in a suit. :D
Clips are from episodes 1, 2, and 3.

Ah yes, the mounted machine gun. It may appear to be a deadly force on the outside; but, on the inside, it is no more than just a simple plant pot holder and coat hanger. Take an unsuspecting Commie Garden Community. They will be none the wiser to your chic elegant choice of war-themed pottery and announce you the winner of any gardening competition may it be for your striking design or for fear of it. And, right under the Russian rug, you’ll have stolen both the dignity of the Russians and their precious communal gardening medallions. Better put the goggles on.

You have to hand it to Q, he did take the target down every time.
Actually Bond did use an ordinary wristwatch as a weapon in On Her Majesty's Secret Service (the book). I liked the From Russia With Love cheesewire refernce during the watch one as well!

This is why Watson never had any gadgets off Mycroft, they were all rubbish.
As an actor Martin has a perfect timing. Thank God he finally got a Bafta! He so deserves it!

I'm sure the sherbet coating will make those sweets even more deadly.
"Now pay attention, this could save your life!"

The Morris dancers fighting at the opening of the third bit never fails to make me laugh-snort inelegantly!

Martin Freeman makes a good bond
Reminds me of the cheese shop sketch from Monty Python
That's not a gadget Michael, that's just monstrous use of a biro
This seems to also be a rather accurate depiction of British security services what with high profile defectors in Britain dropping dead at a steady pace. Puchek seems to keep himself busy.
Video should be titled “Every James Bond film but the antagonist slep with Q’s wife.”
