Seguin under the Bruce Cassidy system...that would be amazing. Claude can only coach a certain way, but Cassidy would have been able to make Seguin thrive here...damn

@@arumforyou he wasn’t really a good defensive player and he was young. didn’t dig into the corners too much. but he was so gifted at such a young age that fans were upset he wasn’t getting playing time but Julien ran a specific system and if you didn’t fit it you didn’t really play. we’ve always been a four line team. we ended up trading him because he had high value then he turned into what everyone thought he would when he left. so in the end it worked out for Seguin but I always wonder what would’ve happened if we didn’t get rid of him. I think he was like deadass 19 years old in this cup run. Most of all though every woman in Boston loved this dude 😂.

@@arumforyouhe was traded because the upper management was stupid and gave up on him, he didn't have a good season overall in 2013 especially in the playoffs he only scored 1 goal the whole playoffs and there were rumors floating around at the time that he liked to party too much and allegedly slept with Nathan Hortons wife idk if that ever was proven true but they were tryna keep Horton after 2013 so they traded Seguin while Horton ended up signing in Columbus and never really played, the shittiest part is how desperately we need Seguin right now with all our issues at center

As a bruins fan I really have to admit that the lightning played their asses off this series, they were a mere surprise in the playoffs last year, no one expected them to make it to 7 games in the eastern conference finals with the bruins. Their comeback against the pens was pretty crazy that year and Roloson was on fire.

Because when you win a cup, players go on a different team to win again. They do this because they know its hard for a team to repeat. So usually players who are free agents leave.

@plays320 Agreed to an extent. I really think people are too harsh on Claude. Yes, he is frustrating as hell sometimes but look at what he's done (with P.C and the rest of the Bruins management) with this team. He's brought us into a new age of Boston hockey. We've made the playoffs for several years in a row as of now. I wish he could adapt a bit more but as far as I can see, Seguin has already developed quite a bit, even under CJ's defense.

Salvie D did you not read what i wrote? dumbass...was patrick kane not a lunatic and a drunk when he first entered the league? and how did you put it...seguin was "out drinking for 3 consecutive nights" which would put seguin in the same drunk category. coming into the league they both had a ton of untapped potential but chicago stuck with their guy unlike in boston when we traded seguin. i hope for your sake that you stop being a dumbass and see the correlation.
