Thomas's performance was one of the best performances in Hockey that I have ever seen..... if it wasnt for him we would have never won

Oh yeaaaaaah! Whatta great moment in my Bruins history. Mark Recchi goes out a 3 time Stanley cup champion 🏆🏆🏆 and Zdeno Chara gets to hoist the cup up high. What else can you say about the Conn Smythe winner 🏆 Tim Thomas. 4 playoff shutouts and a micriscopic Goals against average. Milan Lucic getting to raise the cup in his hometown plus Marchy, Bergy, Krecji, Tyler Seguin and our amazing defence. Thank you for posting this special video of game 7. My father and I watched that Bruins Stanley cup team in 1972 and waited 39 long years for this to happen; but how sweet it was!!! Thank You to that B's team! The way management screwed up, it may be another 39 years till we win another cup.

When I saw Burrows get run over at the 7:35 mark or so, I screamed when I was watching the game for the first time, "take that you chicken finger SOB" lol

I've had the opportunity to meet Dave Goucher twice in Boston for Broadcasting Camp there. Wonderful guy with such great talent. I'll cherish every conversation we've had.

Not that it matters anything now but I love how Bergeron's short handed goal counted. The direct overhead shot, to me, showed him swiping at it with his left hand and it moving with pace beyond the bodies sliding on the ice. I would have said no goal but still given a penalty or a penalty shot. This team was truly remarkable in its ability to overcome in every series except the sweet sweep of the Flyers. There was so much talent on that roster. This was such a satisfying game 7 and an awesome run through the playoffs. Apart from the sweep of the Flyers, they were down in all three of the other series at one or more points...pretty amazing.

I miss listening to Goucher's call of the Bruins games. I'm glad he's having so much success with the Golden Knights. I just really hope he comes home to Boston before his commentator career comes to an end.

Burrows actually tried to run Seidenberg then, and ran into a stone wall.

Goucher & Beers are top class, one of, if not the best Radio team in the NHL.

One of the greatest moments in Boston's history. DO IT AGAIN!!

This was a great year as i cheered for the bruins... as my friends where cheering cor the cansucks. Like I said was a great year the bruins became champions and my son was born

it was to thank the canucks for a great season, even though we didn't win the cup it was still one hell of a year

I totally concur. Though I'm a Montrealer and wished the Habs had won in round 1, I am still grateful to the Bruins for kicking the Nucks' asses !

Can you imagine how depressed canuck fans must have felt after this. Just 1 game. That's all they needed and they could have had their first cup in team history. Now their window has closed, the players are getting older, and the team is on the decline. No wonder they went on a riot.

Dafoomie, I listened to 105.5 WEEI out of Springfield (connects to WRKO/WEEI) after the game was over, and omfg, I've never heard a more happy bunch of players before. They had Milan Lucic, Brad Marchand, Claude Julien, Gregory Campbell, etc call into the radio station. I stayed up until 2 am to listen to their reaction.

@666maidenfan He certainly did in Boston, but in Vancouver, he was stellar. He had 2 shutouts in 4 games, and surrendered 6 goals total in 4 games. That's a 1.5 GAA average on home ice. The people who buckled were the Sedins. You have two guys who lead the league in scoring back to back years absolutely disappear in that series. Luongo was buckling under pressure on the road no doubt, but he played well in Vancouver.

@Ringringring345 Don't forget the fact that, other than that massive save by Thomas, Horton scored the game winners in both the Montreal and Tampa series.

Ahh, such wonderful memories. Having said that, as a Bruins fan living in Vancouver, I can say that the riot started with about 5 minutes left in the game, and from what I've heard, no one charged was actually at the game. That being said, real classy of all the shit thrown on the ice during the presentation.

@bigbadbruins0796 Absolutely right. I had forgotten about him. He had a quiet series, for obvious reasons. I'm actually a big fan of Malhotra, and there's a lot of guys on that team that could learn something about toughness and perserverance from him.

People always say Boston is a bunch of goons, but throughout this series you could see the cheapshots by Hansen several times, Lapierre, Burrows, Rome, Torres, Higgins and Kesler.

Bruins deserved it. No other team did.
