Why did Jack Edwards go off on a tangent and talk about Bill Clinton being the governor of Arkansas? He’s right, but what does that have to do with this sweep revenge? I’m just curious.

@@jasonarokiaraj9817 he was talking about things that were going on in 1992, which at that point was the last time prior to 2011 that the Bruins had gone that deep into the postseason.

Scott Hartnell spent this entire game trying to injure either Tim Thomas or David Krejci. 3 or 4 deliberate attempts to injure just in this highlight video. He literally committed every penalty in the book.

Whenever Jim Martin says AT 19:35 and hearing Jack say and New England has Stanley Cup fever again. I just lose it because I truly remember thinking at this time. This is meant to be, how else can this happen. Beating Montreal then sweeping out Philadelphia. It just felt like this is really going to happen. This is meant to be 3 years later and its still special.

Re-watching this I'm reminded how dirty a team Philly was. They spent this entire game deliberately trying to injure Krejci, Bergeron, and Thomas. Dirty dirty team. Dirty dirty coach.

Yeah man, but I'm sure they were just frustrated about going home.. I mean they were down 3-0 in the series, and know it's basically over. Love the Bruins, but they weren't any cleaner.

THey weren't any nicer, but they were cleaner. At least until the Rome hit. the Bruins did a good job of playing physical within the rules, but they wouldn't stand for cheap shots like that

Just like Vancouver did in Game 7. Hansen tossed Boychuck head first into the pipes and neutered Adam Mcquiad with his stick. Plus he took a run at Ference when he didn't even have the puck. Left his feet and everything. Then they called the Bruins dirty in 2012 haha.

@@Shatamx Hansen definitely needed his clock cleaned. I think it was game 6 in Boston where he scored a goal when the only reason he was open was because he slashed Krejci and Krejci went down but hobbled back to the bench...no call. FN bum!

No idea why I remember this game more than the rest of this series and some of the other games. I was at a house party with my friends. It was my buddy's 25th Bday. After the B's scored the 4th goal he finds this huge push broom and starts dancing with it. What a great start to the summer this was. Go B's.

My friends, this is how you put last year's troubles away, in one clean SWEEP! B's just didn't quit from the getgo and deserved this victory, though with Bergeron gone for at least the start of the Tampa Bay series it's gonna be hard to put the puck past a hot Roloson. I think they'll pull it off and reach the Cup finals though, in my honest opinion, everyone's just on a roll right now.

As a Bruins Fan, if there is a team I would respect it has to be the Philadelphia Flyers. Their Hard Working Philosophy is what made them one of The Most Successful Teams in the NHL Past, Present and Future. And also, what I like about the Flyers is that Their Best Players seem to find their ways to Boston and make the Bruins better before coming. Examples: Dave Poulan, Brian Propp, Ken Linseman, Mark Recchi, Dennis Seidenberg. the list keeps going on. Imagine Mike Richards in Boston.

This was series that made the Flyers' comeback in 2010 pointless

that makes absolutely no sense at all and has to be one of the most pathetic statements ive read from a hockey fan. that comeback will forever be remembered as one of the biggest chokes in nhl history. as if it would be possible to travel in a time machine and erase mistakes in your life just by doing it better the next time. you can learn from them, but past mistakes will always be carved in memory. and i say this as a sharks fan, so i know how embarrasing it is to see your team choke away a 3-0 lead. but you just have to swallow it and live with it. lol. so in conclusion that 2010 comeback was anything but pointless since it took the flyers on a run to the sc finals and wrote them into the history books as one of the few teams to get back from being 0-3 down. dont even try to downplay it or make it seem like your 2011 cup win magically made it disappear

@@dannym6207 WOW. The comeback counted for NOTHING! They lost in OT to the Blackhawks in the Finals. We swept you a year later when you had the higher seed en route to the Cup. The Red Sox and Kings comebacks actually counted because they went on to win championships. What the Flyers and Golden State did didn't mean anything.

@@dannym6207 It's pathetic but not for the reasons you say. The Bruins were exceptionally lucky to be up 3-0 in 2010. Couple that with a key injury to their top scorer and missing another solid contributor, the better team won the series. The only "choke" that occurred was game 7 itself. Up 3-0 then losing the game 4-3...THAT was a choke. Comparing the '10 team to the '11 team is also a joke...big differences. There is essentially NO relationship between these two years.

I love it when people "broughten up" the 2010 loss of 4 straight games. That's what gave the Bruins the chip on their shoulder to take the Cup the following season.

This was the last year where regional networks had the right to broadcast 2nd round games. Now it's solely national TV.

k no i am canadien, ive played hockey for 12 years so i understand it and i work for the bruins. and stop putting words in my mouth. i never said that the canucks lost because of luongo. they lost because their scorers were shut down, they had their injuries, and because luongo was at least subpar. the bruins however, couldnt have won with a goalie like luongo. think of the first 3 rounds. game 7 vs tampa, game 5 vs mtl wouldve been losses if not for thomas' stellar play
