Le ténor soliste a toutes les mauvaises habitudes de ténor italianisant...lourdeur, mauvaise intonation, ataques par dessous, avec portamento. C'est démodé et inapproprié dans Bruckner. Le chœur est magnifique, avec une couleur sombre superbe. L'orchestre est trop lourd et gras.
