Official Video for ”Land of Hope and Dreams" by Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band
About:
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band’s first tour in 10 years ended with an emotional series of 10 concerts at New York’s famed Madison Square Garden. Live In New York City, featuring performances from the last two nights of that tour (chronicled partially in an Emmy Award-winning HBO special), captures “the heart-stopping, pants-dropping, house-rocking, earth-quaking, booty-shaking, love-making, legendary E Street Band” as Bruce and his blood brothers embarked on an exciting new musical chapter together. Now, for the first time, this magical program comes to KZread in its entirety for fans new and old to experience.

Bruce, you've gotten me through 3 job losses, my son with cancer, and so many broken memories. I thank you for your service to humanity in your incredible music and band. God bless you sir.

You're right.
I saw Bruce on Broadway shortly after my 29 year old son died. Felt like he was singing directly to me. His stories were so profound. Thank you Bruce for sharing your talent with us all. One day I will ride this train to you Cody and we will be reunited mama and son again. 29 is too early to go, but I assure you not a day goes by that I don’t think of you and how much love we shared. 💕 FOREVER

My dad passed away this night after a chemotherapy (he had a cancer); and in the last years and a half i've seen him very rarely also due to all covid restrictions that Italian government imposed. I was thinking of him listening this song 'cos he loved Bruce Springsteen's music. This song is for you Dad, one day we will meet again in a land of hope and dreams ❤

This was my mother's favourite Bruce Springsteen song. Moved her to tears every time she listened to it. When she was lying in palliative care with metastatic breast cancer, my Dad played this song on a laptop by her bedside. Even though she was slipping in and out of consciousness, I saw her foot slowly tap along to the song when she heard it. RIP Mom. Miss and love you so much!

Max Weinberg... WHAT a Drummer...
I've listened to this song thousands and thousands of times and it is so inspiring and brings me to tears the majority of the time...but it is the inclusiveness that brings me to tears...so many aspects of life jammed into one powerful moving song. My favorite thing to do is put my sunglasses on and go do yardwork and I'll listen to the song over and over again and cry all the way through. But, it gives me oxygen & sense of hope in a comforting way because when your down it feels like there is no space on the train. The Big Man Clarence Clemons drives the spirit of the song right through you.

This song is as relevant and a masterpiece; an anthem to democracy, compassion, inclusion-equality more than ever in the balance here in the USA and in too many places in the world. Such a time when so many are suffering and holding on to hope and their humanity and self-preservation for self and others and the collective power of belief, speaking out and putting love and justice for each other in action.

MIGHTY MAX on those drums....what a beautiful song!
In the last two years of my wife's life, when I took care of her because of the cancer in her brain, this was one of two songs she listened to over and over again. The other was Bridge Over Troubled Water. I used to put the ear buds in her ears and play it on my phone. It made her so happy. It was like she needed it. Like it was written for her. When this finally was made a studio recording in 2012, they inserted a live version of The Big Man's solo into it. Springsteen commented that as he first heard the combined version being played back, "When the solo section hit, Clarence's sax filled the room. I cried."

I first heard this song a few months before I found out that I was getting divorced. From that time, I had my angry songs (two in particular: Bruce - Backstreets and Foo Fighters - Monkey Wrench) but this was always my go-to for a more positive vibe. Nearly 5 years later this one still lifts me up and reminds me that eventually all that darkness will pass. I have never gotten to see Bruce / E Street but that should change in 2023 - looking forward to it and hope this one makes the set! ❤️❤️❤️
