Bruce's solo on Alive III puts the song Creatures Of The Night on another level!!
*What I dug about Bruce's tenure was that he was boldly and proudly his original self..., and while possessing virtuosic chops, he played only what the songs needed, no more nor less, and with such soulful phrasing and feeling...*
Always great to see Bruce play. He's the single most underrated big time Guitarist of the last 30 years.

Killer solo. 👍 The Alive III lineup was a band unto itself. You can pluck that era from the entirety of KISStory and it stands on its own as a powerhouse of 80s hard rock. We love ya, Bruce!

Hello🥰,how are you doing?Nice to meet you here.
Only respect and admiration for Bruce. Always humble and with a good (not at all rock star) attitude. Without a doubt, he should've been Ace's replacement in 82'. They would've avoided the embarrassing years of Vincent and St.John.

I think Ace once said that Bruce was the best choice to replace him cause he played all the old songs while putting a lot of his own personally and style into them.

But if he would have got the job before Vinnie then we wouldn’t have had the Lick it up album and that’s a great album

I don’t think vinny was a mistake because kiss’s best 80s albums happened during his tenure, but mark was by far a mistake, a big piece of the animalize shitshow. Look at live footage from that time, they are dressed like hookers with no dignity

Absolutely he was the best they ever had, plus always a Gentleman and class act!
Bruce was my favorite lead guitarist with KISS after Ace left. Ace's solos in the early days were classic but his playing just never went anywhere after the late 70s. Bruce was great on Revenge and the live shows. Seems like a great guy too.
He's so good. After 36 years of watching & listening to him play he still amazes me. -Dustin
Creatures of the Night is my favorite KISS song.. and the The Alive III version is my favorite of them all...
One of my favorite solos of all time from Alive III! Yes!!!!!! Thanks so much for doing this, Bruce! Time to go learn it...
Alive 3 is the one I listen to most these days, Bruce's solo in Creatures DESTROYS the Steve Farris Album version. Not even close , and Watchin You and Deuce are SO good on Alive 3.
My all time favorite guitarrist from kiss. Always good to see him.
Bruce should never have been replaced.
Love Bruce! My favorite Kiss guitarist!

Great player,great song.
Such a great, down to earth guy & an awesome guitarist.
The man still rocks!
Man Bruce just kicks Ass!!
Incredible song, Alive III gave it a whole new perspective. Great to see Bruce play it
Bruce is pushing 70 and still retaining his chops well. Just like professional athletes' speed and accuracy diminish over time, so do musicians. Some guys keep it longer than others. Bruce is still awesome.

@@freepressright Who? Ace Frehley? VV? There are many more who play even better (like CC from Poison)
@freepressright
4 ай бұрын
@siberiaenfhesm Here are some valid points. CC has improved, absolutely. 1. He isn't 70 yet. And 2. He lives an exponentially healthier lifestyle than he ever did before. Which, point number 2 goes to the heart of why some folks degrade faster than others. Let's look at the ones who pickled their bodies with booze and dope. Ace Frehley became markedly worse from his peak in the late 70s to even the mid 1990s reunion. His playing was less accurate, notably sloppier in many ways, his phrasing was not as clean and much more wonky, and at times his live solos sounded like background noise at Guitar Center. These days, he's so awful that some shows he struggles to play his own parts correctly. He's over 70, and it's a miracle he has made it that far with all the substance he ingested. Similarly, Jimmy Page saw a marked decline in his playing, from his peak in the 1970s. The reason for that probably had a lot to do with heroin and other substance. Watch some clips of early Zeppelin and then watch some live footage from the early 80s. There are times his playing is so bad that you think it has to be an overdubbed parody. That's substance accelerating a players decline. Now, let's talk about general aging. Playing is an exercise of strength, fine motor skills and also the condition of joints. An aging player can begin experiencing arthritic conditions earlier than others, or muscle/strength loss, or diminished fine motor skills. That can happen in their 50s or in their 70s. It all depends on multiple factors. Everyone's health -- anatomy and endocrinology, is different. I love Angus Young. He's my favorite. But listen to him struggle on the last tour to be able to pick the main riff to Riff Raff without missed notes and pick clunking. Recent footage of Knopfler shows he's not nearly as fluid and his sultans of swing phrasing isn't as sharp or fiery. Gary Richrath of REO was struggling with his own licks in Flying Turkey Trot in the years after he was out on his own. The ability to be your old self on a guitar can absolutely impacted by age. Those who take care of themselves or practice their asses off (like Neal Schon) fare better than others on the aging curve affecting their playing. Neal plays his guitar constantly. A body must stay in motion as it ages.
Nice guitar song awesome riffs nice playing.
Bruce's playing is top notch still!
Playing over the good old Gm pentatonic... awesome!
GO BRUCE! You were my first KISS concert! Animalize! You're still absolutely crushing it. Love that axe, too \m/

@Barry Wardell hm, i'm not sure how you can tour around the planet several (even longer than the original guy) years, write and record several albums, and not be considered a band member. Bruce Kulick is definitely KISS. Forever (pun).
I appreciate all Kiss players. But Bruce is a true team player - amazing guitarist yet not egoistic. As much as I appreciate Vinnie’s talent, Mr Kulick is such a Class act, fits personality-wise and equally talented with no need to overplay things. Kulick’s work and attitude ages like fine wine. Even when you are this talented, there is no need to be an asshole. Great guy!
Oh my God! This was so awesome! Thank you Bruce!

Awesome Bruce my favorite song of Alive III 💪👍
Amazing!!! Bruce Kulick the best for me. His sound, feeling; is great.
Bruce is awesome...great guitar player and class act...
Bruce, you're great!
I got into Kiss around 1980, my first album was Alive 2, mind-blowing... My first Kiss gig was in '83 with Vinnie, mind-blowing.. saw them on most tours of U.K. after that but what sticks out above all that was how great Bruce was and how well he conducted himself throughout his time with the band. His playing was always spot on with some of the most tasty playing not just within the Kiss setting but anywhere, he was and is great, never should Bruce's role in the band be downplayed by anyone. That's my thoughts anyway....
That sounds great! I loved that album growing up....
That's really cool
how awesome was that!!?? One of my favorite KISS track...thanks Bruce!

As a technical player of course. Ace didn't know a lot but his playing style and licks fit the song and sounded great. Ace and Tommy couldn't play this song with their fixed bridge Les Pauls. They would have to learn it on guitars equipped with trem systems to sound like the original recording.

Bruce es lo mejor que tuvo el grupo, es un guitarrista fantastico, creo que para mi supera a Tommy Thayer, saludos desde Cd. Neza.....
I saw this tour...front row...it was so loud it took my ears about a minute to understand what I was hearing...which was Creatures.
That Was HARD AS HELL... Bruce Puttin It down #KissArmy #FoLife
Bruce STELLAR Play on Revenge and tour !!!! People hate on Revenge LP it's outstanding top #3 IMO...
Wish I was alive to see him with KISS.
