    The idea with the sliding is great,you can make yourself legal to drive,and then an apartment when you park.

    Or put a fridge/freezer underneath the microwave and move that shelf over closer to the "couch" so that you have more room by the sink.

    So other than dumping the waste there really is no need to go to a truck stop with a truck with the second sleeper, I mean you could fill up any old gas station that sells diesel (and could fit a tractor trailer up to the pumps and room to enter and exit the lot) . That could really be a great investment for some drivers with a dedicated run with little or no access to a truck stop....

    +veulmet I agree. All truckers should at least lease a custom truck.

    A series of trucks with full bathrooms could give lot lizards an alternate employment path, lol. Keeping it clean takes additional labor. Though cleaning it yourself would still save time over waiting for a shower.

    Um, how come I've never seen a semi with a slide? Is this a concept that the trucking industry still hasn't accepted? They don't have to put it on the rear. It can be installed on the side or even on the ceiling. I've seen an RV made in Germany where the ceiling rises almost 4 feet because the bed was on top of the closet! Still, that's a clever way to save a lot of space.

    I want to learn how to make one. Connect it to a tacoma or halton truck. I would live in my vehicle. I dont need a sink or shower. I can use my gym. Just need a bed, refrigerator and ac .

    Space could of been planned out more wisely. This big of a sleeper could of had a shower. Could even be fitted a nice custom recliner to sit and relax in.

    what trucker can afford this?

  • @ACCOMPLISHEDSHEIS

    @ACCOMPLISHEDSHEIS

    8 жыл бұрын

    +impleasen Sometimes I ask myself this because we have few truckers who don't have a roof over their heads and lives in a basic sleeper without a shower stall, kitchen, etc. They complain is useless to buy or rent a home when they spend 90% of their time on the road. Well, I think leasing a custom truck for truckers without homes sounds reasonable.

    Apparently not. I've watched few videos about them making at least $500 a week. Now, if they have families and a roof over the heads then they're considered lucky. Most rents weekend hotel rooms.
