Brown Sugar & Dijon Mustard Baked Corned Beef
Corned beef cooked low and slow in a brown sugar and Dijon mustard marinade, will surely make you rethink next years traditional Saint Paddy’s day dinner! Or if you’re just craving corned beef. Join me as I try this new recipe that turned out amazing.
For a more tender result, I will cook at 300 for 6 hours.

I used to have a similar recipe that I'd lost years ago and forgotten about. Baste with the dijon/brown sugar mix, wrap it tightly in foil and bake it til tender. It was amazing. Thank you for the reminder!
Just tried this, gets a thumbs up from me. Minimal effort with pretty darn tasty results. I like it and will do it again for sure.

That looks amazing. Tomorrow night will be my first year cooking the corned beef in the oven, I'm definitely using this technique, best I've seen by far.

I'm not crazy about mustard, but brown sugar and a little apple cider would be really good.
Nice recipe to offset the salty flavor. Although I wouldn't use Aluminum foil w any form of acid. Acid and Aluminum is a no no. It can cause a reaction and cause stomach issues. Use parchment paper when using lemon, vinegar ,tomato or anything that is acidic. Even an Aluminum pan or pot can cause stomach distress

2:37 "eh I'm just gonna eyeball it..." That made me LOL because I do that a lot, "eh, this looks good enough". And there's never a problem with it. It looks amazing tasty! What sides did you serve with it?

@@agoodlifehomestead7032 Corned beef is made from brisket, that's the cut of meat.

I bet it would be great!
I almost want to use butter but...I haven't yet 🤷...my favorite cut is the point. Lots of fat
Do you do fat side up? Didn’t look like it during first rubbing.

This is good but if you dont have apple juice ginger ale is also very good and you can use graypewpawn mustard aswell

One more thing i wish to add dont go for the expensive cord beef there is less fat on it. Go for the cheaper corn beef the reason why that fat add to the flaover and you can trim it off after its cooked

It’s under themes in the iMovie app. Doesn’t give a band name. Just says playful. 🤷♀️
Why not put the pepper in with the marinade? Brushing the marinade tended to wipe off the pepper!
