@@Amicy to help you with the story line ,- bighit [ managing co of bts] release a webtoon ' save me' based on this story.. you are in luck rumor has it 2nd season is coming. that particular webtoon will explain many things and the story .. but you may find it a ltl confusing as you guys are not that much familiar with the theories and those ltl sign of symbolism and ester egg they put on in every 2nd clip of their official release when you are done with listening all the song and reading all lyrics of this album, webtoon is highly recommended

Though the storyline is a continuation of the Bangtan Universe storyline, the Wings short films have their themes inspired by the book Demian by Herman Hesse. You're now swimming in philosophical waters 🙃 The narration by Namjoon at the beginning of each short film are also lines from the book. Also the ending circles for each short film are important to know the member pairs for Wings switching from their original pairings for HYYH (Run, INY, prologue).

in the wings/hyyh storyline there's always been 2 members that connect with eachother. 1. RM & V ( V tried to call RM but he didnt pick up and at the end "liar" was written on the phone boot and I think its V who wrote it saying RM is a liar for saying he'll be there for him whenever he needs him) 2. Jungkook & suga ( in suga's shortfilm you can hear him play and whisper the melody of jungkook's shortfilm) 3. jhope and jimin ( bts released a BOOK with notes from the storyline and in the book it said that jimin and jhope were close friends in school and jimin ended up having a seizure after experiencing soemthing traumatic which i don't quite know what. but jimin ended up getting hospitalized for years even tho he said he was fine and wanted to escape the hospital . he lost contact with jhope and i guess that's when jhope started using drugs. ( in the euphoria mv we can see that jimin tires to escape the hospital with the other members ) 4. jin always seem to be alone but we think it's because he's dead in the story and the other members try to get through his death (this is only one theory tho there's so many more theoris out there)

Nahh that theory of Jin been dead is wrong. According to the hyyh notes, Jin had moved from the town after he snitched on the members and they got expelled. When he returned back to seoul and met Namjoon (and the others?), that was when he was approached by something which gave him the power to travel back in time Also to add on to #3, Jimin witnessed a death of a friend and jhope started using drugs because he suffered from narcolepsy/munchaseun Syndrome

Whilw these 7 friends share the same story, some are more connected than others. They go in pairs. For e.g. V and RM. You're right in thinking that Jin is a key figure and he seems to know/see what's happening to the other members. I just want to put one thing out there for you to think about without spoiling anything to much. That is: TIME TRAVEL

i don't know if someone already said this but in jungkook's short film he calls out "hyung" which means older brother while watching the picture of yoongi. yoongi and jungkook are connected in the storyline so i just thought it was cool little detail 😂

Stigma is probably my favourite to be honest, V is known to have the widest vocal range in the group so im glad you could appreciate that :) Once you are done with the storyline please do the LIVE performance of it, it’s actually better than the studio version 💜 I know it’s all very confusing; but I hope you’re actually enjoying the puzzle :)

I've already said this earlier in the Live comment section for the premiere but I'm going to say it again. AFTER you watch all the videos of the BTS storyline, you absolutely need to download an app called Webtoon. There's a BTS comic on there that BigHit entertainment collaborated with that is related to the BTS storyline. The comic is called "Save Me," and I guarantee you that it'll help you understand a little bit more. It's not super long neither. I think it's like 12 chapters. But you have to remember everything that happened in the videos in order to read it. If you do decide to read it later on, can you record your reaction to it and post it. I know it'll be different from your video reactions, but if you post your reaction to the comic and have questions, we'll be able to answer those questions and help clear up any misunderstandings.

Btw all these video titles are individual songs too. They have live performances of them and yes V hits that high note live for STIGMA , and jimin in ‘ LIE’ the choreo is insane. In the Storyline Jungkook is connected with Suga, If you pay attention to their short films you can see it, in Begin Jungkook wakes up from what It looks like a coma, and then he paint the face of someone, someone who can't recognize to the fullest, the guy in the painting it's Suga, maybe the reason because he don't look like him it's because maybe Jungkook lost his memory, but feel the emptiness of the absence of Suga. In First Love short film Suga follow the whistling of Jungkook, so if you payed attention to "I need u" mv you can recognise the car passing by Suga side, it's the same car that hit Jungkook, after that you can read "Would I be different, if I had chosen a different path, if i had stopped and looked back?" Now let's back to Run MV, Suga had a fight with Jungkook who tried to stop him, but Suga only pulls him away from him, now based on I NEED U MV let's asume that Jungkook gone away and then he had the accident, If Suga wouldn't fighted with Jungkook maybe nothing happened to him. WINGS is the second studio album by BTS. In September 2016, members promoted their comeback through these series of short films, each heavily inspired by the German novelist Hermann Hesse’s “Demian”. On September 25, their comeback trailer “Boy Meets Evil was released, featuring BTS member J-Hope. Following the trailer, BigHit released concept photos. It was noted by fans that the concept photos for each member corresponded with their short film. On October 5, BigHit released the album tracklist, and the music video for their title track, “Blood Sweat & Tears,” was released on October 10, 12 PM KST, along with the full digital album. WINGS is a unique album with a fascinating storyline about growth, using the symbol of wings to represent growth and coming-of-age. The album is also notable in that it includes the solo tracks of all 7 members, yet still links each track to the overall concept. Many of the solo songs reference how fame has affected them. Just a theory but I think the “evil” BTS met was fame.

Wings era cemented my life as an ARMY tbh. Never before have I witnessed artists and their label invested so much in an intro to an album. Because, when you look at it from a business standpoint, that is what this was. An intro to the Wings album. This series of shortfilms managed to link, the BU storyline, the themes from the book Demian, AND the music they were about to release, all presented in beautiful and engaging films.. The BU storyline was made clear via the webtoon series. As they progressed to the Love Yourself era, they released Highlight reels, which I feel has a whole different storyline though some things are still in lieu with the BU.

Did i drive anyone else crazy that they didn't watch the end of the videos?? I'm literally growling at the screen!!😭

@@Amicy wdym 'has'. this was what they released in 2016. the theory and story line has been ongoing ever since and it will keep doing so ahshhah. we got a suspicious blog post (from a non-existing flower shop called 'smeraldo shop' based on, again, a non-existing flower called smeraldo that later appeared in the MV Run and also in the Love Yourself Highlight reel) yesterday hinting that they are going back to I need U/Run era..... no end in sight with that storyline ^^ the shop posted that they are reopening at the end of agust ->>>> new album at the end of august? I know it all sounds very complicated bu believe me with those videos of wings you already got a big portion of the storyline.

once you caught up with all mvs etc. you should definetly look into theory videos by xceleste. she is a creator on yt.

I started stanning bts last oct 2019. I've heard a lot about the storyline/BU but I haven't really had the time to dive into it...but seeing this reaction I thought it would be great to dig deeper into it with you guys...I'm looking forward for the next one. Borahae 💜

GREAT reaction guys! It's very entertaining to see newbies trying to "crack the code". However, you don't know how much you made my teeth itch by not completely finishing the videos...😬😬😬 With BTS, you ALWAYS have to watch until the last second of a video; otherwise, you might miss some nuggets. Lol yeah, some parts in the short films are pretty eerie and creepy. Loved watching your reaction and listening to your theories. When there's no music and it's just ambience, certain angles and shadows and movement..

you guys have excellent theories! since you guys are like 4-5 years late to these videos a lot of this has an explanation already but nontheless love how you guys think of it! i won't spoil anything but you guys are right about some things and about jin knowing something and that this story has supernatural elements. watching these videos again with you made me realize some things myself!
