    Glad that you showed your interaction with the land owner. Important tip 👌 for new hunters. Having a landowner speak highly of you and your group can get you permission again.

    What I really like about Meat Eater is the lack of overt product placement. You get the sense that the occasional brand name they flash is for products they actually use and trust. Though the gun geek in me would love a show just on their firearms.

    One thing with game which has been butchered and frozen and/or cooked without aging, is to cook the cut . . . then let it rest in the fridge for say 48 hours. Comes out nice and tender. No harm to the flavor. Thanks for a great episode.

    I wish the video of my first pronghorn hunt was this good. If there’s one thing tougher than stalking pronghorn it’s doing it while trying to get on video haha. If anyone hasn’t ever eaten pronghorn, you’re missing out!! Great episode, I love these meateater hunts episodes.

    Nice thing about pronghorns is that when you see them at dark , they will be in the same place in the morning !! I have camped on them and harvested in the AM..

    Antelope don’t jump fences. That makes a fence line or corner a good set up if you are on the legal side. Love the goat hunting.

    I'm hoping to one again draw for a pronghorn muzzleloader hunt this year in east Idaho. I was able to harvest my first one in 2019. Fingers crossed I'll get that chance again this year.

    Good luck on the draw. I kill a many hours at work day dreaming about my quota draw and what to put in for. It’s a special kind of disappointment when I get the rejection email. Feels like when I didn’t make the cut for the basketball team.

    I hang deer, elk an antelope. 7 to 10 days. Beef 21 days. Makes the meat tender an tasty. Never got to hunt moose but would hang it to

    I’ve shot two antelope and they have both been under 100 yards and one hunt lasted 10 minutes they other 4 hours. Lol. Best thing about antelope is the taste. They are yummmmmy.

    Same here, I have never found them to be an elusive creature. Try the finger of Oklahoma, you can fill your tags using a baseball bat.

    @@michaelbeal1400 I’ve had a similar situation with them and deer. But they didn’t cross until we were almost stopped. They aren’t the Einstein of the animal kingdom until day three/four of a hunting season then they are friggin Stephen Hawkins.

    The secret to pronghorn hunting in Northern Montana is to have super sniper shooting abilities; my last one was a 1000 yard, and hope they stand still for 15 seconds

    @@aaronanderson8491 Luckily we have a spot that's out of view from the road that animals constantly get pushed into. Unfortunately, the last couple years have got worse because OnX shows the 2-track to the cattle trough as a navigable road so now people are opening the gate and blowing through our sit. Public pressure is insane.
