    I watched this video on my TV a couple of days ago. Got some good tips from you from this and the other videos of yours that I've watched since finding this one. This video gave me an option that I could get this one and be fairly happy if I decide not to spend the money for the PE800. Still going back and forth over which one! I also do a lot of crafts including TONS of card making and scrapbooking dies! I do ceramics, sew, glass etching, acrylic etching with Silhouette Curio, metal stamp jewelry and leather tooling to name a few! I haven't crocheted or knitted much in years and my first craft was learning to embroider at age 6. I have ALWAYS wanted an embroidery machine and finally dipped my toes in it by buying a new machine 2 weeks ago that does the embroidery/quilting fancy borders in addition to sewing. Got several sewing machines but this is my first with a computer inside! Keep up the good work! Oh and I have the Stampin Up Ready for Christmas complete set! HAD to have it for the little beggin Dachshund! :)

    hi, new here and haven't done much mach emb, but lots of sewing and lately, quilting.I had a brother se400 that I used to put mottos on things. had no laptop so didn't use anything but the designs already in the mach. 10 years later my se400 is pretty much dead and w inflation, not worth repairing. so I just got another sew/emb machine. it uses an iPad to download designs etc and to control the machine w built in wifi, but I haven't had a chance to set it up yet. watching your video, I now have visions of sugarplum dancing in my head. I'd no idea you could quilt blocks by laying them on top of the hoop! I have blocks of emb designs I stitched out from my old machine and I'm going to make a quilt as you go quilt. Thank you for the inspiration and how tos. I'm subbed. see you soon.☮❤🙋

    Thank God I saw this! Thank you so much. I didn't know this didn't sew. Afraid to begin on my beginner's machine, It sat unopened for 2 years. Aka past return date. I finally dug in. I've only used it twice, and already found it unable to handle jobs I need it to. I know so little of the "true" terminology. I'm basically flying blind. I'm so afraid of making the wrong purchase again. I don't want to have to upgrade again in another 6 months. I'm at a loss. Back to the drawing board 🥺

    @@Rascott03 unfortunately no. You will need to purchase a few projects to begin embroidering such as embroidery thread, stabilizers, fabric, etc. you only receive the machine, a packet with tools needed for the machine. They may give you a prewound bobbin and\or bobbin thread but I would suggest you read what comes in the box. You can pick up these items from a local sewing store if you don’t want to wait for an Amazon delivery. Also be sure to read the manual as there is a lot of helpful tips and information on your specific machine....and there is also You Tube videos to help out. Hope this helps

    I'm sorry you are having such difficulties. My suggestion is that you may want to return the item to the store or if you purchased from an actual sewing type store, contact them and see what suggestions they have. I hope you get it up and working soon. Thanks for watching.

  • @StitchinWithSue

    This machine only does up to a 4x4 size only. I traded this machine in for a larger sized hoop machine. I’m on my third machine. My suggestion is go for at least a 5x7 hoop size to start. If you have more $$$ in your budget the. go for the largest hoop size you can afford. Thx for watching

    HI there, I have a question about the frames/hoops on this machine. I keep running into the same problem where I will buy/download designs and then they end up being too big for the hoop. I have bigger hoops so they should fit but I don't know if or how to change that setting on the machine. Is there a certain limit on how big of a design you can do on this machine?

  • @StitchinWithSue

    @StitchinWithSue

    You can only do 4x4 designs on this machine. That’s the largest hoop size unless you reposition the hoop to complete a larger design….one of the reasons I upgraded twice my machines.

  • @StitchinWithSue

    4 жыл бұрын

    I don’t own this machine anymore. I upgraded. But when you purchase a font for brother machines you are looking to download the PES files for brother machines. A lot of time they come zipped so you would have to unzip them. Using a software program like Embrilliance would help bringing in the font and setting it up as how you want it to be embroidered. Otherwise you need to add them to a usb stick and load them separately. You are kind of limited on the edit capability on the 535 machine. There are many FB groups for brother machines you may want to join. There are a lot of folks on there that can maybe help you further. Hope this helps a little. Thanks for watching.
