I have a SE-625 brother machine.. I've done a hat and a couple of other things but not too much yet.. I hope to do more and will be checking out your videos. I'm a 74 year old man and I just wanted something to do to pass the time. I'm not in the best of health and not able to do a lot of heavy things these days and this machine seems to be a lot of fun. Who knows if I get good enough I may even start selling to add to my social security check. Thank you sweet lady for sharing your videos and may God bless.

Thanks Maya. Great. I went yesterday in search of a display of how an embroidery machine functions with plans of purchasing the Brother unit. The store I went to was only presenting the industrial units. Almost made me say no again. I've been wanting a unit for decades and couldn't see affording it. Thank you for being so humble and down to earth....It makes me know that there are other people out there ....starting out as basic as it can be......I am going to be watching all of your videos....I have a babylock Aventura 2......I, for the life of me cannot get the fonts straight from fonts that I bought. The ones that are standard on the brother, or bably lock show up straight. But, if you've ever purchased other fonts from other sites you will see it takes hours to make the letters straight. Maybe one day you can show us a video of that. The fonts are nice on the brother and babylock, but there are only a few and some of the other ones are really nice that I see on Etsy and other places...Have you ever tried to purchase other fonts and put them on a shirt, towel, or anything? Thanks for any info you can give us.....Lynette

Hey, yes I always purchase new fonts and use them. I also use Embrillance to plan out what I am about to embroider before I work.

Ty for the great video. I want to buy an embroidery machine and wasn’t sure about the Pe535. I’m a beginner so I think this will be perfect. I sew small items and want to jazz them up a little and give a personal touch. I was afraid the designs were too tiny. I have an older computer and I’ll have to find out if it will be compatible for the downloads. Ty again can’t wait to broaden my horizons with this new machine.

I have had my PE535 for a couple months now and I love it Don’t do much embroidery any more. But for those small Projects and a dedication on the back it perfect. 4”x4” area and you can check to see where it goes In the hoop. Happy embroidering

Hey make sure it’s on a steady track before you do any work. Always check and make sure everything is in place. It could just be a little loose

Thank you for this video! One question still though is driving me crazy, please help! All I want is 3 letter monograms and I cannot figure out how on this machine. I tried usb with downloaded letters and it only lets me do one at a time which makes spacing tricky. Do you have to get software to combine them ahead of time? And if so which one? Thanks!

hey love it got this same embroidery machine and am super new to it. when i try n embroider on hoodies n shirts the stitching is so off. when it’s just on cloth it stitches perfect and i don’t know what to do…please help!

You have to make sure that the shirt and hoodie is very tight. Make sure that the hoop has no room for jumps and bumps

i jus purchased this machine & think I set it up right but last night my needle broke, I think it was do to no stabilizer / tension #. -What do you put your tension on? (Also is that the wheel above the stitch area?) -is the stabilizer reusable? -what & where do you get your thread?

That means your tension is either too loose or too tight
