She definitely does not get acknowledged enough.

I first heard this song when me and my dad went to Nashville last may. My mum was very very ill with dementia. We all had been talking about going, me and my dad went and we had an amazing time. My mum passed away six months. But this song reminds me of a good time that me and my dad had and that we would have had with mum! Love you mum. I always listen to this now and think of you and dad xxx

I even like this cover/duet. Provides the female side of this song. Like you im a huge Brooks & Dunn fan and Neon Moon is my favorite song of theirs. Hell I listened to that song when I was at some low points in my life. And I dont mind this at all.

Dude. Not only is this woman SO incredibly talented, she's one of the more intelligent beings this planet has to offer. Seen some interviews and actually LISTEN to the message she's conveying in her songs.. honest, unapologetic, enlightened and straight up fuckin real; a true artist. As a long time musician that has played my share of this classic, And a long time fan of brooks & Dunn ....and a bigger fan of real country....I really like Kacey's version also. She has such a beautiful voice and although she has changed it up. Its good.

Love her voice. Very old school country. Has a little Alison Kraus sound to it whose voice has more of a whisper to it and who I also love. Never heard this song before until last night watching The Five.

I don’t know how anyone can hate on this girl. She’s absolutely adorable, and the way she sings this song is incredibly sweet. You go girl.

Can’t remember how many times I listened. I just can’t get enough. Hope young generation is watching taking notes.

The song, the cover, the sound engineering on the tracks and especially the video....absolutely love the homage to 70s country stars like Crystal Gale and Loretta Lynn with a modern drum machine beat and even the tracking line on screen. Amazing job!

I am not a big fan of artists who take a song and redo it. I am not a big fan of it. When I heard this one it immediately sent shivers down my spine and made hair stand on its end. She is absolutely amazing and as much as I hate to say hers is better than theirs.
