I was born in Ohio in November 1960, moved to Oklahoma in '73 at the age of twelve due to my parents divorcing. My Momma taught me how to be gentle but not to be beaten down. She passed when I was 18. But I remember her always telling that if I fall, I better get right back up. This song has always reminded me of her, she knew she was dying but said nothing till 6 months before she passed.. That lesson has made me strong no matter what I go through. God bless Momma and God bless Oklahoma, my true home.

I’ve always loved this song, but it makes me cry since I lost My Daddy 7 years ago. But I still love this song! And yes my Daddy bought me my first horse. 💔😢💙😇💙😢💔

It was a 17 hand high black Appaloosa with white spots on her rear. I was 5. I’ve fallen many times and to this day I cry alone. Because Cowgirls DON’T Cry!

I love this song, so much! Life is hard, I am now 70! Lost many people, but still learning lessons on how to survive!

Nobody outdoes B&D. Nobody. And then add Reba. Perfection. This song is the best country music song in my opinion. There is just a magic in the blend of their voices combined with the lyrics.

My kind of Cowgirl. So did I and I thank God that Ronnie is still making music and touring. I get why they quit. So many things they missed with their children growing and special occasions that you can't get back. But this is the #1 duo ever to grace the Country Music World in my opinion. I love that they get together from time to time at other artists concerts and do performances. But they will always be the top #1 duo of Country Music for me. Thanks for watching! He bought me my first horse,,,he taught me how to handle a horse, he taught me how to Work sale barns, chew tobacco , hold an Eagle bottle feed lambs, fawns, feed baby owls, work cattle, hogs, horse, dog, all 4 leggings and many Winged. When he crossed over I didn't know how to take a Breath in this Life on this earth......ty for this song

Got to see Reba perform live at the Oregon State fair in the mid 1980’s, maybe 1984 with my then girlfriend and now wife of 36 years. Back then she wasn’t billed as Reba like she is now but by her full name Reba McEntire as I recall. The concerts then were free as part of the admission to the fair and still on a assembled stage on a grassy area with fold up metal chairs for seating. We were curious walking around the fair and decided to walk on over and listen to this new singer to us and were pleasantly surprised, she put on a great show even back then. Interestingly enough a lot of the seats were empty so we walked on up and sat front row and enjoyed every minute.

This still gets to me and Ronnie told everybody this story before the song because it’s very true and I always share this with my own daughters

This song never fails to make me cry the words get me every time sending love and hope always

every time I hear that song I choke-up and think of my two little cowgirl's......thank-you so much!

❤❤❤😅😊😮 sending all of you love 💕😘. I wanted to let you know that the first 5 or 6 times I heard this song back in 2009! It floored me. I was dealing with a broken foot and my knee blown out on the same side. I almost cannot hold the tears back Everytime I hear it. I love how youn's all are stating true facts in the song and lyrics. I love 💕😘 gospel and country classical music 🎵. I love to sing and I do a lot of live karaoke 🎤🎶🎵🎶 music too. Anyway God bless you and keep up on doing what you do. Because I don't know how to play any instruments or write songs and lyrics to them. I was blessed with being able to sing and I have to sing other people's songs. So keep on using your gifts and talents that God gave you. Because I really don't know how many people believe in God but he is a good God. If we go to him in prayer daily and love and praise him everyday. I also don't know how many people believe this either. I can't quote where it's located in the Bible. But God himself tells us all that if 2 or more people pray and ask God to help someone then he is a good loving kind forgiving and the most perfect man in the whole wide world 🌎🌍. That the exact same prayer will be answered according to his will. But we have to remain calm and focus only on him to see us all through. Yes we'll all go through trials tribulations and hopefully and prayerfully everyone will keep rebuking Satan the devil Lucifer in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior the son of God. "AMEN and AMEN"! Thank you God for everything you bestowed upon everyone throughout our lives. I pray 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 that father God you will get ahold of Lucifer and show him how much of a coward he is and direct guide and lead all in the world 🌎🌍 and help them learn to go to someone who can and will come to you in prayer God I pray for not only myself but for all in this crazy world
