He has the other Straw Hats to fill him in at some point, plus Alabasta and Skypia will no doubt re-enter the story, filling him in on anything his crew mates skimmed over. Remember, he doesn't need to be 100% accurate, just more accurate than Big News Morgan and the World Government.

I have always adored Brook. He is such a good character, and I have always been so sad he got so little time, and I can say that I adored that the WCI arc had so much of him made me happy. Brook is one of my favorite characters Oda has ever created. His loyalty to the straw hats is heart warming, the way he utilizes his humor cracks me up and after everything he’s experienced he doesn’t let it stop him from being the best friend a friend can be. A lot of people could learn a thing or two from Brook like caring for others and having a huge heart.....even though he doesn’t have one. YOHOHOHO! ❤️

I keep forgetting how tall Brook is until I see him standing next to the other crew members. 😂

I know some people had trouble connecting to Brook early on but I adored him from the beginning. I dunno if it was the loneliness he went through, his over joyous demeanor, or his amazing skills as a musician and as a swordsman. When his first episode aired I saw a little bit of myself in him as someone who was incredibly lonely and depressed but still wanted to make others smile and laugh and still wanted to make something of themselves through skill and talent. I think Brook is honestly my favorite character of all the straw hats!

Brook throwing himself at Kuma first makes me cry cuz I realise he was probably willing to die first because he'd already lived a life and felt his second chance had to be for the sake of his friends.

Why i think Oda is a genius, and why brook will become by the end of the story one of the best well written character of the manga? That's because brook have the most appropriate virtue a man should have, which is Self-restrain. He's by far the best as a human being, among the crew. The most logical, calm and oldest, the more lucid, he has a good global vision of things and so he's the most experimented on the world in which he lives. However, he keeps his self-love away from the ship as he's grateful and loyal toward luffy and his comrade, which again are inferior as human being as he is. That's why the destiny of brook at the end of the story is to be the man who sacrifice himself for his comrade, and i think he will fly away on a sentence like this " i already lived and died before you were even born, you gave me the opportunity to live a second life with you, a one who even surpassing the real one, it was like a dream. That's why it's my duty now to repay my debt and give you the life you gave me"

But the most important part she'll have next is when everyone (mainly BB) tries to get her for themselves. This could open to using people as tools versus actually caring about your mates and stuff.

I already liked Brook when I first watched the series, since I play viola and I just like fun skeleton characters Back in March, I moved into my first apartment and started living by myself. The same weekend I moved out, my job was suddenly switched to exclusively work from home due to Covid, and there weren't a lot of opportunities to see people. I still see my family a couple times a week, but this is the most physically isolated I've been up to this point in my life and I feel like it's finally starting to really get to me When I rewatched Thriller Bark last week, the flashback to Brook being alone on that wandering ship really hit different, and the nonsensical quirky jokes like "45 degrees!" suddenly made a lot more sense

In my opinion I think that oda demonstated that he can construct a emotional backstory effortlessly and within a arc to the point where we almost instantly accepted brook as a straw hat even tho we hadn’t been with him that long but OHara did brook justice in this analysis

Brook is one of my favourite characters in the series. He has everything:the necessary sad past, strong motive, loyalty,power,unique fighting style and the best character quirk

I Love these videos. They make me notice even more reasonse to love these characters, and thats something that effects me every time i watch or read one piece. So thank you for enriching my favorite manga/anime/story .

Brook was absolutely incredible at wci and I got chills when he went up against big mom! Great video, as always, and I love that you bring up how Brook is made into more of a comic relief character in the anime because it was something I genuinely hadn't noticed (partly bc I don't keep up with the anime anymore, I imagine) but is so true, now that I think about it. I do feel like Oda's excellent ability to mix humor and more serious themes gets sort of lost in adaptation, which is a shame because it's one of the many things that really make him stand out as an author. So thanks for bringing that up! (a sidenote: I fell in love with bink's sake the moment I heard it, and learning how to play it has been one of the best musical decisions of my life)

I love brook's humor, For example, "That would make my skin crawl, if i had skiiiiiiiin, yoooohoohoohoohoo" But he's also a great character and fighter, he makes a great second swordsman for the crew. he also has a great espionage acumen, as was proved in the WCI and Fishman Island archs

This is surely one of the best one piece related youtube channels. Super philosophical and clearly from a great mind. Please don't stop

The background music was perfect, it -combined with your words- gave me goosebumbs. Brook is an amazing character ( and no, not just becouse he is a musican like me XD ) since i'm rewatching some arcs, i noticed it more and more. If you try to ignore the sometimes just anoying jokes added by the anime, you really notice his kindness etc. ^^ I just hope that oda will touch more upon the fact that Brook allready sailed the seas 50 years ago, i'm sure he'd be able to tell some interesting storys and usefull facts about that time

imagine. When everyone dies, Brooke lives in solitude and reminisce his time with the Straw Hat Pirates. Missing them as they grow old and die one by one. Thinking that he would never find anyone like them again. Imo, this anime if focused on Brooke, would be very heart warming. Flashbacks of his memories on the Straw Hats

He did know, he just wasn’t 100% sure if the fruit was gonna do it since it doesn’t give him any powers while he is still alive. The crew ask him if he will really be revived and he says he wasn’t sure

I love Brook! He's one of my favorite characters. I actually wish Oda would focus more on the non Monster Trio characters more, hell, I wish he'd give Sanji more screen time, especially redeeming fighting moments. Oda seems to REALLY spam Luffy and Zoro, and it's annoying. I really love Sanji, Brook, and Nico Robin the most. They have great personalities, and power.
