    Bromeliads and South Florida are meant to be. You will have no problem growing them outdoors year round. Enjoy!

    Peggy, your gardens are beautiful! You are very informative about the Broms. They have proven to be elusive for me to successfully grow. I will try to incorporate your information into teying to grow another.

    Thank you for the kind words. I think the problem most people have with bromeliads is giving them too much attention. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be amazed at how easy they are to grow. Best of luck with your bromeliads. You can do it!

    Bromes love So Flo weather. Mine have struggled since moving to Central Florida but some are thriving. I love that they are so hardy and pretty much take care of themselves, once established. What a beautiful memory to have of your husband. Enjoy!

    I enjoyed your video on bromeliad care. I have a very rare Imperial Bromeliad that is blooming after 20 years of growth. It's huge and about 10 foot tall. I'm so excited to witness this rare event. Thank you for the great info.

    Thank you so much for all of this great info! I'm is SoCal and just purchased a bunch of these guys for a shadier more protected area of my yard. I am mainly a succulent and cacti enthusiast but know that bromeliads are a great companion to those plants and work well in shadier areas that succulents and cacti may not. I just want to give them the best chance possible and that's when I ran across your video. Thanks again!

    Wonderful, I love all your plants! I bought a single aechmea fasciata more than 20 years ago, today I have six direct descendants from it, so I guess I'm doing something right. I love plants that I only need to buy once lol. Great video.

    Sounds like you are doing many things right. My daughter bought me my first bromeliad over 5 years ago. I still have several descendants and have given many to friends and neighbors. They are like the plants that never stop giving. I love it! Thanks for watching.

    Thanks for the informative video. I have quite a few and had no idea !! I was treating them like my other plants and wondered why they werent thriving. I was making it too difficult. Im going to have fun uplifting most of mine and tucking them places like decorations :-)

    Such a pretty garden. Thank you for all the information. I had attempted one in a terrarium once but it didnt thrive but then I really didnt do my research either. They look beautiful outdoors & attached to trees. My environment/climate does not allow them to thrive in WA state w/out a lot of supplemental "stuff", but they are beautiful.

    absolutely beautifully done. Your information is spot on and your range of broms is excellent! I've been a collector for only 12months and live in a similar climate (Darwin Australia) and most but not all are mounted on palms or stumps. Thank you for an enthralling video, hope to see more!

    Wow!!! THANK YOU! I bought w bromeliad a few months ago and it is suffering. I am not a new plant mom- however I have never ever even owned one before. It is growing a pup. And it is looking rough. I - in my infinite wisdom- potted it in cactus mix. ... luckily it was only in that medium for about an hour before finding your video. Repotted it again- this time in orchid bark. 💜🌿 thank you again!

    Keep in mid that if the mother plant is giving you pups, the mother plant will continue to slowly decline. Think of it as the mother plant replacing itself before it dies. In fact, it may give you several pups. Enjoy the process!

    I just found you and live in the Keys as well. I have some pink pineapple broms and they grow like crazy, but ouch when I try to separate them. I also broms in my fan palms and they love it. Your garden is beautiful. So happy!

    Thanks for your sharing. I'm from Malaysia. Hot and high humidity often with afternoon rain. Some months with monsoon month. I normally tie them to my palm trees without soil, and they grow very well. They're easy to have and then growing orchids.

    Wonderful content and so very helpful! I bought my first bromeliad on clearance last week. I wish I could send you a picture. The center is dying, turned to look like brown paper. It does have a few pups. But anyway, loved the video, loved that you didn't have a bunch of fluff taking up time but you got right to what you wanted us to learn. So good, thank you.

    Glad you enjoyed the video. The mother plant normally dies off eventually after giving pups. You should be just fine with the pups once the mother plant is gone. Enjoy your brome!

    Wow your bromeliads are so beautiful. I love that red one and the purple color. I have one its green with white stripes some kind of vase type and I LOVE them. Mine has made about 5 pups its so neat how they grow and just make new babies like they do. Thanks for the great info. I just threw mine in a coca coir wire basket with some bark and she took off. And wintered over nicley in a south window, now she's outside again, Love these things!✌💖😁

    They are so colorful and easy. I think most people just overlook them because they are odd and they aren't sure how to take care of them. Maybe I shouldn't be telling everyone how wonderful they are! LOL. Stay well!
