jesus christ if anybody on this earth has the astartes voice down to pinpoint accuracy it is you! your voice just... carries the extra bit of violence... i'm not 100% sure how to say it correctly (english being my 2nd language). much respect as it is your voice that is in my head whenever i read a novel and an astartes is talking. imho your talent / channel is criminally underrated but i am happy to see your subscribtions have almost doubled since the last time i left a comment. fingers crossed for a second night lords halloween song haha please keep it up my friend, because not doing so would be such a waste of talent. i'm always looking forward to more A Vox in the Void content :)

Honestly Vox IS Konrad Curze as far as I’m concerned. Some prefer an Eastern European accent but Vox is so resonant and the way he says “Tsagualsa” is bone chilling.

"You DARE?!" I imagine him going utterly incandescent with rage when he realized the witch was messing with what is probably a precious memory.

Stories of loyalist from the traitor legions always have something special about them. They are an echo, a hint, of what those legions should have been, or once were. And, in this case, it has the ever-satisfying flavour of violent, bloody, entirely justified retribution. Amazing work, as always!

I wonder if we should have stories of chaos marines who are from Loyalist genestock and are hints of what depths of darkness the Astartes we normally see as heroes could have fallen to had the loyalist legions were the ones who fell to Chaos instead of the traitor legions.

@@adamhebert5365 hopefully video is edited so cheering guardsmen signing the aquila shouting "Crixus!" loses its sound and the official story is of a group of deathwatch space marines on a covert mission joined the frey without alerting the imperial guard to their presence, the video shows thankful guardsman cheering a member of the deathwatch vid quality is poor, hopefully the guardsmen are told to keep quiet on opperation crixus and not mind wiped or silenced by other means

I definitely understand that Schola Progenium principal who simply had a mutinous class tossed into a vat of ferrocrate and after it set, blocks were used to decorate the refectory... Bones sticking out... My students were sent by Lord of Schemes, and left Nurgle's rot in my in vitro cultures... At least none tried to pass the semester the Slaaneshi way this year...

That ending…THAT ENDING! “All of it!” Easier to shove the World Eaters aside as mindless butchers. Their true story is found in how they got there, and it’s really heart wrenching.

The old hound has found his path again.

Death Guard get thier dicks road 24/ with GW catering to all the nurgel band waganers all the time just looking for toughness boost, a loyalist Word Bearer would be more interesting. Something like an Iron Warrior or a Night Lord loyalist even a Thousand Son would be better. Just anything than DG.

The ending is surprisingly hopeful. An old war hound, having been on the brink of blind madness from the nails, managing to withstand them in their most brutal moments, remembering his distant past and being reinvigorated. He runs to the aid of the mortals he once turned his back upon, if not to redeem himself, to take as many of those who led him into damnation with him to his eventual destination: Oblivion.

I did not expect a touching, tender flashback from a World Eater, even a repentant one, but that's what I got. Marvelously done 👍

I'm sitting in work, feeling like I want to join Crixus on his one man crusade against his fallen brothers, amazing as always. The dialogue, description of the pass experiences, the fact he moves on with a helmet as a trophy of necessity to aid the guard and cut down more of his warband. Then leave one to spread the word that 40K batman is coming for them. Superb work!

Im not a fan of audio books at all, even the other 40k ones, but your audio production quality really draws the listener into the story and thats what makes the difference for me. Keep up the great quality, its only a matter of time before you become very successful

@@informationyes not bad per say, though the wrong narrator can make it DRY as hell. Then I won't remember any of it as it just becomes back ground noise.

I for one cannot wait to see where this'll go if we get a sequel to this story. Imagine the shock, confusion and awe of an overrun group of Guardsmen as they watch a World Eater going out of his way to slaughter his own brothers whilst ignoring them in what should've been the final few moments of their lives of this war.

Vox I keep listening to Crixu's flashback over and over. "Fight in your head and kill with your heart". So inspirational, thank you again.

I got literal goosebumps from when they flashed back to his mom and the conversation held between them. Something about that scene struck a chord with me, then when he snapped back to reality gave me a sense of realize. Satisfaction, for him. He didn’t fall victim to the dogma of his chapter like everyone else. He followed what his mother told him and it carried him through his life. I stand with full confidence that this channel is truly a gem in the mess that is KZread.

The War Hounds were a noble warrior legion, with marial honour (Kharn being a prime example of this mentality) they preferred close combat so that they would lower the chances of collateral damage and bystander kills. Angron was borken, and broke his legion with the nails

Like the Revenants, the War Hounds are their dark twins. Only instead of a golden angel to lead them into casting off their savagery and that name, they met a red angel who seared it into their very souls. Blood Angels, and World Eaters. Two kindred legions

This was awesome!! Kind of wanted Crixus to keep the pysker alive so she'd become part of his retinue as he kept killing the other World Eaters, but it was an interesting kill. Very beautiful scene with his mom. I like that sort of detail. Another astonishing work voice-wise. Hope they all come back for other stories!

Blood was drawn and with its vivid hues a story painted and hammered home with rage. For such a story written and told, little more could be asked.

The Emperor has blessed us with a story shaming the black library 🔥. The part where Crixsus had the long lost memories of his mother broke me…. ONLY FOR MY BLOOD TO BOIL WHEN HE ROSE ABOVE THE FALSE SENSE OF PEACE AND SHOWED THE PSYKER THE TRUE REALITY OF HIS ACCESSION AND DOWNFALL OF GODHOOD. By far my favorite audio story in WH40k ever done. Thank you for this🙏🏽

As if the stories and narrations weren't great already, the music choices for some of these are so damn perfect. I was already a World Eaters fan pre and post heresy and stories like this really nail it down. The raging berserker is fun and all, but the fallen warrior trying for some sort of blood and shit soaked redemption? That just makes it even better.

Crixus fulfilled Angron's desires perfectly. He broke his chains from the legion and chose his own path. He died free.

I did not know I needed a vigilante punisher esq world eater in my life till know, you and you readings and single handedly turned the world eaters into my favorite traitor legion! I also love that fact you made him refer to himself as a warhound the untainted men that carved a bloody path across the galaxy. The ones who were killed among the other loyalist during the purge

This is amazing. I wish this series would never end. A slightly sane world eater is one of the most fascinating mindsets in 40k

This channel has done more to improve my opinion on the world eaters than any official lore I’ve ever read. I’m still not entirely sure how much of this channel is fan made Vs official, or if it’s all fan made but the few I know for sure were written by fans have been amazing and the narration of it is just amazing

I love stories about the world eaters, because they are the most tragic legion to fall to chaos, being forced to have the nails due to their father's suffering and his unbound anger

DAMN VOX.....THIS WAS JUST PURE SAVAGERY AT IT'S BEST. I FREAKING LOVED IT. SOOO BADASS TO HEAR THE MUSIC BLENDED WITH "THE OLD.WAR HOUND PICKED UP HIS SWORD AND HEADED OFF IN THE DIRECTION OF THE CALL".... The old soldier... Perfect story. Perfect Narration!

I love stories about War Hounds. Those that were true legionaries, who threw off the spell of obedience gene crafted into all astartes for their primarchs. That threw aside their kinship with their brothers because their brothers were all mad and as good as dead. Because it is right, even millennia after the fact.

Damn this audio makes me wanna flip my truck due to the Adrenalin these vid3os on world eaters….the anticipation of a war hounds video pre angron makes me quiver hahhahaha

Knocked another one out of the park mate. Waking dogs, Preysight and all the gods are dead are my favourite series. Your work is a solid motivator for hobbying after a crappy day.

The performances on this one are absolutely outstanding! It really adds so much to the story. I really liked the music for the finale as well. The triumphant tone of that track really painted a picture.

WarriorTier is a great collab choice, in fact, the addition of a cast is a nice mix up (although I do enjoy the singular narration as well)

Now that's what I'm talking about! I came to 40k as a star wars fan and now I'm pretty solidly a Warhammer fan I'm even reading every book of lore from the heresy series and I intend to read everything I can

@@AVoxintheVoid saw wet I would love to see content on carcharadons, a video also on tyberos the red wake . But make your own story like how you do yours now doesn’t have to be cannon . Would also love to see videos on the war hounds legion and lunar wolves before they became sons of horus and world eaters PLS!!!! Do those before carcharadons and tyberos. Pls these are the legions I play as well as make and paint 🎨
