That intro is absolutely breathtaking.
Reminds me of Pink Floyd here. I just can't believe you guys don't get more airplay. Why? You are extraordinary musicians. This song is lush. It's like a flower opening up. So many colours, shapes & scents. You Guys are incredible. Thank you. Please keep making more music. I'm a forever fan. ❤️🇨🇦

Smokey the bear must be sweating bullets with so much 🔥 coming from these guys
I just watched the live performance 8 years ago on KEPX and needless to say Broken Bells is Broken Bells. Pure music and devotion and passion. Broken Bells define my music taste.
I blame the Pandemic. It’s been too long that we’ve been waiting, But once again Brian Burton and James Mercer strike the chord that only Broken Bells can. Perfection.

Pandemic was just another form of government control to kill all the old folks who didn't have dogsh*t in social security cause the government pumped up inflation a bunch.. wasn't designed to kill us healthy folks, just the sick, and the old and young👍

Get ready for it again, squeeze then losen.....squeezing tighter is coming up. YT will play their role as they always do.
Just incredible. This outro needs to be featured in the credits of some world shattering episode of some huge tv show. Get the Bells those millions of streams they (and this song in particular!) deserve.
These guys more particularly Danger Mouse developed a super knack in producing great melodies combined with great production values. This album sounds an amalgam of old timer groups like Simply Red, Fleetwood Mac , Bee Gees and Foreigner. Not to take the credit away. This album( new one) is a superb album and this song is a beautiful haunting melody

This album is my favorite so far but for sure there are echos of other songs melodies/rhythms but used so well. Saturdays is a new Beatles song to me.

I hear The Black Keys' The Flame and a mesh of songs from El Camino. Danger Mouse co-produced some of their work (El Camino) so it goes without saying. To dig deeper, The Black Keys' influence includes many Black blues artists from previous eras. There's that.
One of the best songs ever, it's just so beautiful. My heart breaks a little bit everytime I listen to it

This is how I feel everytime I listen to something that touches my heart: it's a bit like crying, dying, being breathless, lost, moved and feeling like flying all at the same time. But I want more of this feeling.
The end of this song is freaking amazing. I can't get enough of that build up and then the instrumental to finish it off
The animations for each video on this album is reason enough to listen. I don't know where they got the idea for the retro space station art, but I LOVE the crap out of it.
it's an evolution of cosmic sound. i think Broken Bells are one of my favourite new things this year so far.
This whole album is stellar so far. I can't wait to buy it. Broken bells is life.

My new favorite band, great listening music for any occasion, as put my hand out to you ladies care to dance? Anyone please
No matter where you go, no matter who you find There's always something wrong A million reasons why I can remember a time There was a disappointment in your eyes Staring down Thorn in my side But don't I miss the ways Until the chase is on No place to run The chase is on (You're gone, you're gone) To reach the dawn (You're gone, you're gone) The chase is on What made the change inside In the battle it took your pride Is it the way you bang your drum? Guess the killing was all too fun No other way you would go But that never stopped you before, right? A good life tonight And the days of the sun come along with darkness But still, the chase is on (You're gone, you're gone) No place to run (You're gone, you're gone) The chase is on (You're gone, you're gone) To read the dawn (You're gone, you're gone) The chase is on

If this is appealing to you, perhaps the albums Echoes or Zuma or the songs Flirted With You All My Life or Cop Shoot Cop would not be any good to you. Because this song feels empty.
מזכיר את בית הבובות סיגפו
I really like this song, but I don’t think the drum tones for the kick and snare work well and end up overpowering the guitar and also taking away from the synth (which could also have been louder in the mix). What does everyone else think? (Really like this song but definitely bottom half, love every song on the album except fade away)
