I listened to this playlist YEARS ago and I loved it. Life kicked in and I forgot about it. Just a few days ago one of the songs popped into my head and after playing it in my head I remembered this playlist. Years ago this playlist helped me through some sad times, and now, just as it did all those years ago, help me as I listen to it again. So thanks you. Same, such a random Playlist but the level of nostalgia it brings back to my 9 year old self just trying to sleep is not something I can put into words

This mix was what gave me the motivation to write a story that I never finished, and probably never will finish. But even then, the fact that this gave me the motivation to push myself to write a story based on a dream I had while listening to this song is amazing. I don’t know what I’d do without this mix, and I’m glad Cloudx Music is still producing more mixes. In fact, when I do write or draw or even study for test, I listen to this mix. I listen to it when I’m saddened or angry, or even joyful. I can listen to this no matter what I’m doing, no matter my emotion! It surprises me to know that a lot of people around me do not listen to this music, but when I listen to this and go to the comment section, seeing that people actually do listen to this music makes me happy. I can’t believe it’s been five years already. I remember when this mix was still considered new. Man, I’m old. 😂

Don't mean to get personal but this mix helped me though A LOT of mental health stuff in 8th grade, I didn't know how to deal with stress and anxiety and this one mix introduced me into a whole world of music and art that helped me cope with all the things I was going through back then and I just wanted to say thank you to the creator of this mix for posting this and don't stop doing what you do, I'm sure it helps a lot of people out there like it helped me.

What makes melodic chillstep so amazing is that it is sad and but with short breaks. It leaves me wanting more everytime a track ends and 4 sec later a new addictive one starts

I listened to this when it came out six years ago and I STILL come back to it.

yeah man i feel you too, i listened to it religiously for at least the 1st year after it released and even into early 2019. Literally saw this on my recommended again and the fucking feels bro, they are out of the world. Man, i'm longing for something, but i legit can't work it out, it's an indescribable feeling

Hadn't even realized when I turned this on today that the last song (58:42 EvenS - Tell) was on the list. I was using it as background music while doing paperwork, and when it came on it hit me right in the feels... This was one of the songs Mr. Black0ut used use in most of his videos.. and instantly by mind went "How ya doin', How ya been?" Haven't watched much of his stuff since he shifted to having most of his content on Twitch rather than video production for KZread... so hadn't heard the song in a long time and nearly forgot about it. *sigh* It's now a good day - even though I have more paperwork to do.

If I may, I feel like although we truly do see things that are terrible during school, work, and many, many other places, I feel as if forgetting the world around us should not be our go-to response. Now don't get me wrong, it's wonderful to escape from this world from time to time, but I think we should never forget what we see or do, because if we do, how could we grow? Mind you, I'm not attacking you or telling you what you should do, I'm just asking, would we be able to improve without seeing difficulties? I say no. So, what I would encourage thought on is to notice the world, and to take it in. But when the world gets too difficult, let us use this work of true art(and so many more like it), and use it to leave a positive aspect on everything we do, say, and see. The world truly is a beautiful place. It took me too long to see that, I hope you're smarter than I was.

Last one was accidentally deleted ;w; Storytime of what I see in the music & Art: There were two children. They'd grown up together. One was 12, the other 13. They treated each other as sisters. One had deep brown hair and blue eyes. The other had jet black hair and brown eyes. One always wore her black hair up in a ponytail. The other had hers down in a mess all the time. One day the little brown-haired girl got hit by a car. She was rushed to the hospital but didn't make it. The little black-haired girl missed her friend. She began to dream of when she was still there. She felt a great sorrow for her friend. She almost couldn't bear it anymore. Eventually, when she was 15, she began seeing a bird-like creature. It was surrounded in flames, but not the kind that hurt. It wouldn't dare hurt this girl. Every time she slept, she'd see this bird. This bird treated her as an old friend. It held her when she'd cry. It helped her when she needed help. It was her shoulder to lean on just as the brown-haired girl had been. She was stressed, she never questioned it. The bird provided her shelter and she loved it. She never noticed the fade in the flames or the growing weakness in its wings. She was just blind to the toll it took on the bird to stay with her. It would carry her over plains, over waterfalls. They had adventures together in the small mind of the girl. She was happy. She could fall into her head and be safe. Eventually the bird came back larger, stronger. The bird had deep brown feathers and blue eyes. It had green feathers and amber eyes before. She then questioned it. She got nostalgia of her friend's old looks. It made her cry, the pain had never gone. One night her stresses were keeping her awake. She finally decided that life could wait, she needed time. Her friend believed in her. Eventually, they came to a wall of flame. The bird flew through it and returned when the girl didn't follow. She was too scared of the fire. She woke up. They continued to come across these flames. One day, the girl decided to trust the bird. It carried her through the fire without a single burn. It felt good to be free of fear now. The girl was now 23. One of her friends had been giving her trouble. She met a guy who began to help her out. He acted like her old friend had. She left the other friend. He supported her more. The bird was growing weaker still. Over the flights, things began to slip from it's mind. Images of the two girls playing, the brown-haired girl's old home. Their school, their class. The table they'd sit at. The memories felt good to the black-haired girl. She finally felt peace from the death of her friend. Now she was 26. She had a family, a dog, a cat. She had good friends who'd support her. The flames on the bird began to change and shift. This wasn't right. Some of the flames licked from gold to blue. They'd begun to sting her, they were cold and icy now. Not warm and comforting to be around. Still, the bird continued to visit the girl. The girl was worried for her old friend. One day, the bird just collapsed. The flames gave out, every memory was there. The girl knew now that this was her old friend. The brown-haired girl hadn't wanted to leave. She had to, though. She was finally over with the pain. She had a happy life, the bird could see that. "Madelyn?" "Yes, Ava?" "You need to go now." The bird fell to ash, it coated the now-grown woman like a blanket of snow. She smiled and cried. She woke up. Every once in a while she'd dream back in that place. The bird and her staring eye-to-eye. And one day she had to kneel. The bird was Madelyn. Not the bird. She reached out and Madelyn reached back. She woke and never saw her again. ^ Dunno if the art was for something else or not, that's just the story that came to me when I heard the music + art.
